This Egyptian Coptic Christian gentleman runs a site named "theSpiritofislam.com".
As anyone can see, the name itself is a Missionary trap (not all Muslims have knowledge about the lies these Missionaries sprout in trying to make inroads to our religion).
Someone needs to refute this guy.
Also I want to state a point on Qur'an 2:106, abrogation never happened in the Quran.
What that verse meant (I was reading that verse with the previous verses over and over again), was that abrogation took place among the people of the Book, i.e those upon whom Allah had given revelations. Allah made them forget the Revelation or part of it (note, Allah never does Evil against men, Men having free will tend to move away from the blessings of Allah, and since Men forget their creator, so does the creator makes them forget even more so that they think that their evil way is right and that manifests in their heart.)
I read this site and my theory was 100% correct :
http://www.quran-islam.org/main_topics/quran/false_accusations/abrogation_claims_%28P1216%29.htmlAlso, I want someone to refute that Pastor Gentleman. He says lies like the following (in his Islam and terrorism page 2):
"When the prophet Muhammad began to call people in Mecca to Islam, he was weak. He needed the help of the Jews and the Christians, so he praised them. Here is what the Koran, the holy book of Islam says about Jews and Christians at that time:
Verily, those who believe [Muslims] and those who are Jews and Christians and Sabians whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve. (Surat Al-Baqarah 2:62)
In this verse the Koran puts Jews and Christians at the same level and privilege as Muslims.
There are many kind verses quoted in the Koran from this first and gracious phase of Islam. Muslim Clerics used such verses to establish that Islam is a religion of freedom and peace. However, these verses were abrogated lately, which means they were cancelled."
First, there were no abrogation in the Qur'an,
second this gentleman (supposed to be a Doctor, maybe Doctor of Divinity, I don't know) don't understand that what the Qur'an is saying is about these Christians, Jews and Sabians is that, anyone who, beyond their artificial label of calling themselves whatever they want, believes in God and does good deeds and believes on the last day, they will be "Muslims" (meaning submitters to God) and they will be given rewards from their lord.
I searched the whole net without finding anyone to refute this Pastor. He seems to have a clean shot at the whole game.
This gentleman won't let open comments in his site, he has a moderation functionality, LOL it is.
Someone please do the job, since we can't have people saying whatever they want about our religion and get away with it.
I am a new-comer to this site, excuse any errors and forgive me if I posted in the wrong criteria.
Salam
(note: Quran has no abrogation, Quran is a mathematical miracle, please I do not want to jostle on this topic. I am on the side for defending the Muslims, so please do justice.
Also this gentleman has tonnes of topic and also I have seen open contradiction in his argument. Someone please do the honors.)
