Does Allah have human-like qualities?
« on: June 19, 2015, 08:43:42 AM »
This is a question usually asked by atheists:

Allah is an intelligent being who loves men. Then why does he care if people worships him or not?? Why he would punish people for not worshiping him? And if a man does shirk, why Allah cares?? Our worships doesn't increase or decrease the glory of Allah. then why he cares about Haqqullah. Isn't being a virtuous man good enough for entering paradise?? Why fast? why offer Salat? why Allah wants us to do these??

Even Noble human doesn't care if other people slander him or doesn't give him proper thanks for what he does for them, why Allah cares then??

by following the ordains given by God, creations will be granted rewards unimaginable in the hereafter.

At the same time, humans can choose not to adhere those sets of rules given by the Creator. but during the day when all will be gathered , they will be judged and certainly they will be regretting the past life, pretty much too late at that time.

Assalamu alaikum dear brothers,

The atheist judge Allah by human standard, but the truth is Allah is not like man. Nothing is like him (Shura:11). So this argument..

Quote
Even Noble human doesn't care if other people slander him or doesn't give him proper thanks for what he does for them, why Allah cares then??

...is actually invalid. Islam is the only religion which explains this, because all other religions are infected by anthropomorphism.

Quote
Allah is an intelligent being who loves men.

LOL! This argument applies on the christians, not muslims. Obviously Allah doesn't love mushriks, sinners who don't repent etc.

Quote
And if a man does shirk, why Allah cares??

Because He has the ultimate knowledge. By human standard, shirk may look like something ordinary. That's why Allah has revealed scriptures with His Divine Wisdom, revealing the true nature of shirk and telling us how dangerous it is!

If the Atheist don't understand this simple matter, they are on their own.

Peace............

Assalamu alaikum brothers,

Allah doesn't need any of our praises. Our praises doesn't increase His bigness and omnipotence and our ungratefulness also doesn't decrease His anything else. He doesn't care about us. But think of it, all the things that He has given to us, He is worth of praising. But we are not capable of praising Him. Yes, He doesn't care about the creatures. But we care about Him. Cause indeed He is our creator and we want to be grateful to Him. Nobody likes anyone ungrateful. But how will we praise Him? Allah is the All-Knowing one. Only He knows how to worship Him. That's why He has sent prophets. As ungrateful creations are worth of abandonement, He throws those people into hell who deny Him and associate partners with Him. That is what we care for.

Brother Abdullah Tahmeed, do you want to be thrown into hell for your ungratefulness? That's upto you.

May Allah forgive us all.

I don't think those are brother Abdullah Tahmeed's personal questions, he is just asking for refutation. Indeed those questions are big problem while refuting atheists.

May Allah strengthen the bond of muslim brotherhood and give us victory over the kafirs.

Assalamu alaikum brothers,

Yes I know those are not brother Abdullah Tahmeed's personal questions. I'm just giving him some food for thought. By the way, if you feel that I am insulting you, I'm sorry brother Abdullah Tahmeed. The atheists those who ask this type of questions, ask these using our belief. That's why we will have to show them that we pray to Allah for His mercy upon us and remove the lebel of ungratefulness from us. And by doing so, Allah will be pleased with us and gift us Jannah.

If the atheists say, "We don't know why ther is need of heaven or hell?" Ask them a counter question, "You are saying that there is no need of heaven and hell. Okay. Then tell me how can you judge a human's deeds. As there is no afterlife there is no need to distinguish between good and evil. Cause in this world, I can easily escape any type of judgement if I have money and power. I can do as much vices as I need. Because none can catch me as I am powerful. This is my only life, why will I waste it thinking about human dignity? If anyone kills 100s of people, can you punish him in this world killing him 100 times?

See how does he answer you. If you need any help, just ask us.

May Allah bless us all.
