Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.?

When Paul claim to met Jesus in the desert, he began to spread stories that Jesus resurrected and also claimed Israelite practises are abolished. He interprete that as  Jesus got resurrected and ascends, and so is the repetitions prayers of Israelite practises ends. Sufficient to only believe in story of resurrection.

And later Hellenistic followers of Paul, injected stories by writting Greek books about divine Jesus, and injected Pauline doctrines about not following Israelite practises as well into stories about Jesus. Mat 6:7 is a nice example.

For skeptics, one can only claim Islam being a direct copycat of Israeltie religion. Some even say Islam came from a much more ancient religion being offshoot religion of Noah. Nothing pagan.

The only clear pagan influence here would be the author's Hellenistic Christian belief of God manifesting on earth in human form.
Where they believe that their manifested War God will not guide non belivers to make peace with believers but rather, as War God returned he will send them to hell on earth. And still not satisfied punishing them in hell, he will release their leader first so the evil leader can prepare his armies on earth to attack the War God. The War God will boast his triumph by instantly winning the battle by invoking fire from the sky to torment them with painful ending.

~~~
616 or 666.
If the past Greek Hellenistic authors chose to use 666, it is due to them pointing out that 666 refers to the beast that will come from the lineage of Adonikam to rebuild the temple for the Jews.
Nothing to do with Islam
Just so that I don't get misunderstood here, Introvert98, you can still post all of the questions and criticism on Islam here.  Just don't post insults on Islam.  Believe me dude, we are not afraid to defend our Holy and Precious Religion, Islam.  With Allah Almighty's Grace, Kindness, Mercy and Will, this site alone has all of the refutations to all of the lies that any doomed-to-Hell infidel can bring on Islam.  All Thanks, Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, and no one else.
So bring it on.  I am not afraid of any article.  Just don't act like a wise ass and post insults on Islam under the cover of other articles.  That will not be tolerated.
And one important point for you to always keep in mind, dude:  The Quran doesn't produce agnostics and atheists.  It is your Bible that produces the largest number of agnostics and atheists from its followers.  Close to 25% of Americans in the USA alone, today, identify themselves as either agnostics or atheists.
To Muslims, the West has become a gold mine for Islam.  We must step up our efforts in reaching out to the lost souls there.
Take care,
Osama Abdallah
As'salamu Alaikum akhi Introvert98,
I am sorry for misunderstanding you, akhi.  I hope you accept my apology.  I misunderstood you.
By the way, as to the point on repetition of prayers being forbidden, it's ironic that the New Testament vomits it, because Jesus (peace be upon him) on the night of crucifixion prayed repeatedly ENDLESS TIMES to GOD Almighty to save him from the crucifixion.  He even bowed his face down to the ground as we Muslims do in Prayer:
www.answering-christianity.com/jesus_hypocrite.htm
So Jesus in normal days wouldn't bow his face to the ground before GOD Almighty.  But when he was desperate, he gave GOD the BEST PRAYER POSSIBLE?  See the irony, hypocrisy and falsehood in this teaching in the NT?
Take care,
Osama Abdallah
And whatever happened to the following way of Praying to GOD Almighty:
"I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.   (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 138:2)"
How come the corrupt and false New Testament nullified it?  So now bowing your face to GOD Almighty isn't allowed in the NT?  Yet, Jesus himself did it.
What temple do Christians bow towards today?  No Temple!  And how come they don't bow in the direction of the KAABA in Mecca, which was Prophesied in the OT?  Again, visit the links above to the see the Old Testament's Prophecies about the Kaaba and Mecca.
The doomed-to-Hell polytheist trinitarian pagans and infidels follow nothing but falsehood and conjecture.  And the doomed-to-Hell corrupt Jews don't follow GOD Almighty's Command to them, because they hate and despise the Ishmaelites.  Yet, GOD Almighty Said that He'll establish His HOLY HOUSE in the lands of Kedar (one of Ishamel's sons).  Not only that, but even in the Bible, Ishmael was the sacrificial son, not Isaac, peace be upon both of them.  I've thoroughly proven this at:
Christians might answer this by saying that Jesus is our Temple.  After all, he said to the Jews that he'll destroy their Temple and rebuild it in three days:
John 2:19
Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."
Mark 14:58
"We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple made with human hands and in three days will build another, not made with hands.'"
The problem with this is the following:
1-  This statement is corrupt (not from Jesus), because Jesus himself BOWED TO HIS CREATOR as we Muslims do.  AT THE VERY LEAST, IT DOESN'T APPLY TO THE TEMPLE that will be built in Arabia, in the Lands of Kedar (modern-day Saudi Arabia).  The Bible also says that the Path to the House of GOD there will be called the PATH OF HOLINESS.  So, even if the temple of the Jews was replaced with Jesus being the Temple, this still has nothing to do with the House of GOD Almighty in Arabia.  Again, visit:
A thought from me on this point:
Perhaps this is also why Muslims were Commanded by Allah Almighty to change their Qibla (direction of Prayer) from Jerusalem to Mecca.  The REAL HOUSE OF ALLAH ALMIGHTY is in Mecca.  The one in Jerusalem is an abrogated one:
[002:142]  The fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say: To God belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.
[002:143]  And thus We have made you a medium (just) nation that you may be the bearers of witness to the people and (that) the Apostle may be a bearer of witness to you; and We did not make that which you would have to be the qiblah but that We might distinguish him who follows the Apostle from him who turns back upon his heels, and this was surely hard except for those whom Allah has guided aright; and Allah was not going to make your faith to be fruitless; most surely Allah is Affectionate, Merciful to the people.
[002:145]  [002:145]  And even if thou shouldst bring every Sign to those who have been given the Book, they would not follow thy Qiblah nor wouldst thou follow their Qiblah, nor would some of them follow the Qiblah of others. And if thou shouldst follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to thee, then thou shalt surely be of the transgressors.
But the Farthest Mosque in Jerusalem (Al-Quds) remains a Holy Place for the Muslims for all times, because Allah Almighty Sent Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, there on the Night Journey:
[017:001]  Glory to (God) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).
And Allah Almighty always Knows best on this point and on all points.
2-  Jesus was never crucified, even according to the Bible.  In fact, Psalm 91 and other books ASSURE US that he will never die.
3-  The gospel of John was proven to be corrupt on so many levels.  Many additions had been added to it, and the very author in the end of the book admits that it wasn't even the original work of John.
4-  The Jews' Temple did indeed get destroyed.  And Jesus, peace be upon him, being THEIR MESSIAH proves that indeed he is their Salvation as the Messenger of GOD Almighty.  All Messengers of GOD Almighty are the saviours of their people.
