Respond to them with Quran 60:8 and tell them its a Madini Surah,so it isnt abrogated.

By simply telling them, that there's no proof that peaceful verses were abrogated by violent verses. Violent verses were revealed in self defend, and the peaceful verses were revealed  to make it clear that violent verses are only about self defend. Take this verse for example:

"Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors." Quran [2:190]

This verse tells us to not attack innocent people. Once we incorporate it with other verses, we find it make more sense because the violent verses didn't say to kill all infidels. It said to attack infidels, and this verse tells us to attack infidels who attack us first.

Verses complete each other.

Secondly, None of the scholars ever claimed that peaceful verses were ever abrogated by the violent one, and there's no hadith, or a verse that claims that.

Hope this helped.

Take care,

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers,

There is no abrogation in the Glorious Quran.  The clowns of the "Muslim scholars" don't even agree on the number of verses that supposedly abrogated others.  The number of abrogated verses ranges from 20s (twenties) to 300s.  It's all opinions and garbage.

Their numbers aren't just slightly off.  They're world's apart!  The abrogation claims are nothing but opinions and garbage.

No Contradiction = No Abrogation:

It's been proven that the Glorious Quran has no abrogations.  This can also be easily seen by the fact that there are no contradictions in the Glorious Quran.  If there were, then that would open the door for the abrogation theory.  The abrogation that the Holy Quran talks about is the Quran abrogating the previous Laws before it.  Please visit:

Laws of War and Peace:

As to the Laws of war and peace in Islam, it's laid out in great details at:

I believe that there are no abrogation in the verses of what we have now of the holy Quran.... the forgotten verses been removed from the human memories.

And the abrogated verses also been forgotten and altered with a better verses thus removed it from the Quran. Quran is a Fully integrated texture now and every different verse of it have it's special way in interpretation when we have the sense of the Quranic understanding...

giving you an example about alcohol drinking:-

1- Verse (16:67) "And of the fruits of the date-palm, and grapes, whence ye derive strong drink and (also) good nourishment. Lo! therein is indeed a portent for people who have sense".

this verse doesn't points that alcohol are allowed, because Allah almighty said after the strong drink AND a "good nourishment", not promoting the strong drink, but showing that he created things for many uses, and can be used for good and evil and medical stuff.

lets take a look at Isaiah 45:7(KJV)
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things"

2- Verse (4:43) O ye who believe! Draw not near unto prayer when ye are drunken, till ye know that which ye utter

this verse also doesn't point that Alcohol were allowed or are allowed, it points that if it happened and your brain got intoxicated by these stuffs, then don't come to my mosques and don't pray at all.

And Allah almighty knows best.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother Bor3i and Everyone

For Noble Verse 4:43, it talks about two things:

1-  Those Muslims who were still addicted to alcohol after alcohol became prohibited.  You don't just leave an addiction in an instant.  Some people took time to cure.  Hence, the Command to never approach Prayer while drunk or intoxicated, EVER!  Please visit:

www.answering-christianity.com/alcohol.htm
www.answering-christianity.com/bassam_zawadi/gradual_prohibition_of_alcohol.htm

2-  In today's medicine, there are intoxicating medicine that people take.  They're called narcotic drugs or medicine.  They are very intoxicating!  Many people would not be able to drive or even stand on their feet after taking them.

The Quran's Prophecy:

Point #2 is also appropriate for this Noble Verse, because while narcotic medicine did not exist back then, but Allah Almighty did speak about future scientific discoveries and miracles that will prove that the Holy Quran to be Divine and the Truth:

www.answering-christianity.com/ac20.htm#links
www.answering-christianity.com/ac3.htm#links

So Noble Verse 4:43 does indeed also apply today to narcotic medicine and drugs.

Why not?

Why should I today not apply it to narcotic medicine when the Glorious Quran is supposed to be for all times, all ages and all places?  What right does any satanic cultist, from the Muslims, have to deny the Glorious Quran to be applied to today's discoveries and science, especially when Allah Almighty Himself promised that He will also prove the Quran's Truth through future scientific discoveries?
