Confused about some hadith i read
« on: August 30, 2017, 07:11:09 PM »
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatallahu wa barakatuhu

I have a question regarding some ahadith which i was very very confused by to be honest.

Tirmidhi 157: Allah's Messenger said: "In very hot weather, delay the (Zuhr) prayer until it becomes (a bit) cooler, because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell."

Sahih

Bukhari 535: The Mu'adh-dhin (call-maker) of the Prophet (ﷺ) pronounced the Adhan (call) for the Zuhr prayer but the Prophet said, "Let it be cooler, let it be cooler." Or said, 'Wait, wait, because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. In severe hot weather, pray when it becomes (a bit) cooler and the shadows of hillocks appear.

The following one bothers me te most, bukhari 3260: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The (Hell) Fire complained to its Lord saying, 'O my Lord! My different parts eat up each other.' So, He allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in summer, and this is the reason for the severe heat and the bitter cold you find (in weather).

Bukhari 536,537: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In very hot weather delay the Zuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold."

So it is recorded multiple times in bukhari with sifferent chains and in a sahih hadith from tirmidhi. How do we explain these ahadith. The heat and the cold dont come from the hellfire, rather from the sun is where the heat comes

Jazakallah khair

Wa Alaikum As'salam Wa Rahmatu Allah Wa Barakatuh,

These Hadiths are metaphoric.  Everyone knew that the sun is what causes the very hot days.  This is very well known fact to all humans, especially to the ones in the unforgiving desert.  And Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, lived in the desert.

These are metaphoric like the satan comes out of your mouth if you don't cover it (by harming people).  And satan comes out of your nose.

Don't be effected by the doomed-to-Hell infidels' noise.  If you want to challenge the Glorious Quran's STUNNING and Overwhelming Scientific and Numerical Miracles, then come over here:

Bring all of your Arabic infidels with you.  You'll see them fall one after another like the crucified infidel, Usama Dakdok, in the second link.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

the sun will be present in hell contributing to increase in heat in Hell.

also for purification,  there is water classified as musyammas being heated up by sun.
