Islam and slavery

I recently came across this statement:
"Does islam condone slavery because there isnt a verse in the Quran against it and the prophet practiced it.
Also the quran seems to be fine with slavery with the whole what the right hand possess idea. Many Muslim empires after Muhammad practiced slavery. Islam never abolished slavery human rights did "

Islam came to end slavery, brother.  Slavery is no more.  Just like captives of war.  Their status is temporary.  They are ultimately to be set free.  Slaves are the same thing.  There are many Noble Verses that Command the Muslims to free slaves whenever they can like the following and many more:

Foolish radical infidels. They said Islam supports slavery, but they never mentioned about emancipation in the Holy Qur'an. Stupid!
Zakir, infidels' websites are trying to persuading Muslims to leave Islam. They deceive, misquote, and mock Islam.
