Child marriage in Islam?
« on: May 18, 2018, 11:29:13 AM »
Is there any specific age for marriage in Islam? I have heard some salafis sheiks saying that it's even permissible to marry a 4 years old! How is that possible?!

They are braying donkeys from a cult of donkeys.  Allah Almighty forbade for any boy or girl to be married off if they're not:

1-  Physically fit.
2-  Mentally fit.
3-  Socially fit.
4-  Mature enough.

Read the ample Noble Verses that clearly spell this out at:

www.answering-christianity.com/aisha.htm

There is no magical number regarding the minimum age for marriage in Islam, akhi.

.....a minor boy or daughter  to marriage ..... he/she  must not sleep with his/her wife/husband until she/he reach puberty

Do you see how stupid and false the cults that you're quoting sound?  Just complete opinionated garbage and ignorance.  It all contradicts the Glorious Quran.

No child can be married off by their parents.  Your parents do not own you.  Yes, they are responsible to raise you, but they do not own your future.  This is why Allah Almighty is several Noble Verses Commanded the Muslims to wait until the children "reach the age of marriage".

Do you see how stupid and false these cults are?

Quote
(a baby) he/she  must not sleep with his/her wife/husband until she/he reach puberty

What donkey brayed this?  These false cults make their stupid opinions as Islamic Divine Law.  "(a baby) must not sleep with his/her wife/husband".  Do you see how stupid and out of this planet these cults make you?

You can not marry off your child:

A person who has not "reached the age of marriage" is not to be married off.  Get that inside your head.  It's from the Glorious Quran.  I am not making this up.  Read the many Noble Verses in the link that I gave above.  Anyone who tells you otherwise is a prostitute who sold himself off to the satanic cults.  The almighty petro-dollar is quite influential and dominant.

yes, I agree. and our scholars also agree on this matter. they just said that, "if" it's necessary, then you are allowed to arrange a marriage for your child. otherwise it's haram.

My dear brothter Mahir, again, donkeys braying who call themselves scholars.  Brother, a parent DOES NOT OWN their child!  Period.  No parent can marry off their baby.  No parent owns the future of their children.  Period.  And no one is allowed to get married until they "reach the age of marriage".

There is no necessity in marrying off a child, and you never have that right.  How do you know that the baby that you married your baby-daughter to will be a good man anyway???  Have you not read the story of Moses and Khidr?

Marrying off babies and children is a crime, akhi.  It is against Islam.

Osama Abdallah

Aslaam alaikum
Please brother Osama kindly mind ur langauage.
Talking this way is not the part of Islam even.

Secondly Scholars are Agreed that it's permissible to marry a young girl and even a boy if that's going to serve clear interests of child it's not permissible to consummate the marriage until Girl becomes Physically Fit for Intercourse and intercourse is not going to harm her in any way but after she grows up and becomes Physically Fit for Intercourse and dislikes the Marriage she has the right to ask for a divorce or dissolution of Marriage

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear brother Affan,

Akhi, when you marry a young baby girl, you always subject her to the risk of getting pregnant at very very very young age.  This is something the Glorious Quran is against.  This is why Allah Almighty mentioned reaching "the age of marriage".

Everything you mentioned is opinions.  None of it is supported by the Glorious Quran.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

indeed, you are right. but it's possible that certain situation may arise while we have to do haram, but then haram is considered as halal.
as example,  pig is also halal, if you want to avoid death.
