Islam is wrapped paganism

I don't want to waste my time and debate with you. Islam is a beautiful religion. If you don't like it, just look away. If you are willing to join Islam, you are more than welcome. I know things about Christianity that can make you leave your religion straight away. Now, don't think I'm backing out from a debate because I am scared or lack religious knowledge. I have heard all what you are telling me before and did some research. All what you pose against Islam is unauthentic and has already been refuted many times. I am an open-minded person and look for the truth. Islam, so far, is the best solution and, in my opinion, the only flawless religion. Now, you might send me other links and videos with alleged claims against Islam. My friend, you are an orthodox, one-track-minded Christian that knows nothing about what Islam really is. If you were looking for the truth, you would have departed Christianity ages ago. If you want to know the truth, I will teach you about why Islam really is. If not, don't you dare attack my religion and spread false information. You have your religion, and we have ours. Your posts are not convincing anybody; on the contrary, they only increase us in faith. By the way, your video includes millions of alleged and misunderstood facts with regards to Islamic history. To begin with, the main idea behind the video was about worshipping idols and setting up partners with Almighty God. My friend, just buy a copy of teh Glorious Qur'an and read it. The moon symbol, to begin with, was used to represent Islam at the time of the Ottoman Empire in 1453 because Muslims follow the lunar calendar. Proofs from the Glorious Qur'an that Muslims do not worship the moon: "And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostate to Allah, who created them, if it should be Him that you worship." [41:37]
In addition, when they asked Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) about the moon, look at what Almighty God told him to say unto the people: "They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. Say, "They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj."..." [2:189]
If Islam taught Muslims to pray to the moon, why didn't Almighty God tell the Messenger (peace and blessings of God be upon him) to inform the Muslims that they were supposed to pray to it? Afterall, that was the perfect chance. If you read the verse, the word worship isn't mentioned. The moons only represent months, so Muslims can know when to fast the holy month of Ramadan and when it is time to perform Hajj (i.e. pilgrimage). About the black stone and the Kabah - us Muslims never prayed to any rock. The black rock is not even mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an once. The point of the black rock was to make counting the rotations done around the Kabah easier for Muslims. It is basically a checkpoint. The reason Muslims like to kiss the black rock and touch it is because it is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him). You see, the Kabah was built by Prophet Abraham (peace and blessings of God be upon him) but was re-constructed many times. The black stone, Muslims believe, existed from not only from the time Prophet Abraham (peace and blessings of God be upon him) built the Kabah, but from the time of Prophet Adam (peace and blessings of God be upon him). Muslims don't and never did worship the black stone or the Kabah; on the contrary, if one does so, he has then committed the biggest sin in Islam. Muslims never sacrificed their children at the Kabah. The hilarious thing is that you say that this is mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an. Please enlighten me and show me the verse. The verse you showed me does not in any way order Muslims to sacrific their children at the Kabah. It actually warns them of doing so. It says that those idol-worshippers used to kill their children. The Kabah is not even mentioned in the holy verse. In addition, if you continue reading the holy verses, Almighty God states four verses later, "Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah. They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided." [6:140]
Abdul-Muttalib was not a Muslim. He died a pagan. If you want more verses prohibitting the killing of one's children, you have the following:
"Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."" [6:151]
"And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Indeed, their killing is ever a great sin." [17:31]
There are also several verses where killing one's children is prohibitted indirectly, like the following:
"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors." [5:32]
"And [recall, O Children of Israel], when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, [who were] afflicting you with the worst torment - killing your sons and keeping your women alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord." [7:141]
"And [recall] when We saved your forefathers from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with the worst torment, slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord." [2:49]
"And the eminent among the people of Pharaoh said," Will you leave Moses and his people to cause corruption in the land and abandon you and your gods?" [Pharaoh] said, "We will kill their sons and keep their women alive; and indeed, we are subjugators over them."" [7:127]
"Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters." [28:4]
You see man, the Glorious Qur'an came to confirm the Gospel, the Torah and all that came before it, not to condemn them.
Apparantly, you know nothing about the history of Islam. The pagans too used to perform pilrimage around the Kabah, but their pilgrimage was done naked. Almighty God describes their pilrimage in the Glorious Qur'an.
"And their prayer at the House was not exceptwhistling and handclapping. So taste the punishment for what you disbelieved." [8:35]
"And when they commit an immorality, they say, "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has ordered us to do it." Say, "Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?"" [7:28]
The immorality mentioned in this verse was the pagans going around the Kabah in the state of nudity. See, the Glorious Qur'an has answers to everything. Almighty God answers the pagans and says that God never orders immorality. Hence, God never ordered anybody to go around the Kabah naked. He actually put a stop to it. That is why Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) told the people to stop going around the Kabah naked. He was addressing the idol-worshippers, not the Muslims. Just to make things easier, I will show you another interpretation of the verse.
"And when they commit a Fahisha (evil deed, going round the Ka'bah in naked state, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.), they say: "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has commanded us of it." Say: "Nay, Allah never commands of Fahisha. Do you say of Allah what you know not?"" [7:28]
Suratut-Tawbah is the only chapter that does not begin with the phrase, Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem (i.e. in the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful). The reason behind this is the content of the chapter. It orders Muslims to fight the idol-worshippers and the polytheists. Note that no where does it state that they were forced to accept Islam. Many misinterpret the chapter and suggest that Islam was spread by the sword. Almighty God prohibits convulsion in the acceptance of Islam. He states, "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion..." [2:256]. This means that everybody who accepts Islam does so out of his own freedom of choice. Anyway, others say that Suratut-Tawbah does not begin with Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem because it talks about Almighty God's Wrath and Anger, whereas Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem is not suitable as it shows the Mercy of Almighty God. The most common reason is that the chapter commands the Muslims at that time to fight the idolators who broke the treaty.
The Glorious Qur'an many times prohibits the worship of idols. If you read the Glorious Qur'an, Almighty God orders us to follow the cult of Prophet Abraham (peace and blessings of God be upon him). The Glorious Qur'an also narrates the story in where Prophet Abraham (peace and blessings of God be upon him) destroyed the idols of the polytheists. In addition, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) instructed the idols to be destroyed.
Muslim (969) narrated that Abu'l-Hayaaj al-Asadi said: 'Ali ibn Abi Taalib said to me: "Shall I not send you with the same instructions as the Messenger of God (peace and blessings of God be upon him) sent me? 'Do not leave any image without defacing it or any built-up grave without leveling it.'"
Muslim (832) narrated from 'Urwah ibn Abasah that he said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him): "With what were you sent?" He said, "I was sent to uphold the ties of kinship, to break the idols, and so that God would be worshipped alone with no partner or associate."
As you see, Islam strictly prohibits the worship of idols and orders the Muslims to destroy them.
Us Muslims do not pray to the Kabah. We face the Kabah in our prayers simply due to the reason that we must have a uniform position to face when praying. Islam focuses on fostering unity. In addition, it is clear the worshipping the Kabah or the black stone is strictly prohibited as it was narrated that Omar (may God be pleased with him) said: I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet touching (and kissing) you, I would never have touched (and kissed) you. In addition, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) stood on the Kabah and recited the call for prayer. Tell me, do you think a prophet would stand on what he believed to be his lord? Hence, we conclude that the Kabah was considered by both, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) and his companions (may God be pleased with them) just a place of worship and not some type of idol.
Note that Muslims believe that the structure of the Glorious Qur'an differs than that of the Gospels. We believe that the Glorious Qur'an is Almighty God's direct Word, not a human speaking like in the Gospels. God Almighty can swear by whatever creation He likes. Afterall, he is the Creator. However, in Islam, for a Muslim to swear by the name of anything save God is strictly prohibited. It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of God said: 'Whoever swears, let him not swear by anything other than God." [Sunan an-Nasa'i 3764]
In addition, the Prophet said, "Whoever has to take an oath should swear by God or remain silent." (i.e. He should not swear by other than God.) [Sahih al-Bukhari 2679]
There is nothing absurd when the pagan Arabs swore by Allah. Some believed in Allah but associated with Him partners. Others believed in Him but in different forms, like Al-Lat, Al-`Uzza, Manat and so on. Even the Glorious Qur'an confirms that they acknowledged the existence of Allah.
"Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?" They will say, " Allah ," so say, "Then will you not fear Him?"" [10:31]
"Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"" [23:84-89]
In addition, the Glorious Qur'an, too, like the Bible condemns the worship of demons with God.
"Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful." [4:36]
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin." [4:48]
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray." [4:116]
"And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will gather them all together; then We will say to those who associated others with Allah , "Where are your 'partners' that you used to claim [with Him]?" Then there will be no [excuse upon] examination except they will say, "By Allah , our Lord, we were not those who associated." See how they will lie about themselves. And lost from them will be what they used to invent." [6:22-24]
"Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know."" [7:33]
"And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him." [10:18]
"Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who guides to the truth?" Say, " Allah guides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is [wrong] with you - how do you judge?"" [10:35]
There are too many verses for me to show you. By the way, this verse from the Glorious Qur'an confirms that some pagans did believe in Allah but associated partners with him. "And most of them believe not in Allah except while they associate others with Him." [12:106]
The Biblical verses you quote at the end of the video relate in no way to Jihad. If you want verses from the Bible about fighting in the Way of God, a perfect example is the following:
""Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." [Matthew 10:34]
Some scholars say that this does not refer to physical violence. No problem. The word sword in Arabic has over 7 different words with the same meaning. Not even one is mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an. However, in the Bible, the word sword is menitoned in the Old Testament 447 times and 36 times in the New Testament. In addition, most Christian countries, if not all, were forced to accept Christianity whereas the teachings of Islam state that there should be no compulsion in the acceptance of relgion.
I await your reply.
What do you guys think? By the way, this guy keeps spreading wrong information about Islam.
