I am glad that your friend knows that God said in Isaiah that He gives His glory to no other. Then he said that the Bible says that God gave His Glory to Jesus. This is ample evidence that the Bible is modified. Let me give you a practical example, if I say, I will not give my money to anyone, then someone claims that I gave him my money, then this person is a liar because I said that I will not give my money to anyone. It's the same when God says that He does not give His glory to anyone, then the Bible says that God gave him glory to Jesus, then this is obvious that the Bible is not telling the truth. I can support you with many verses from the Bible that Jesus is nothing, he is only a man like me and you but Christians don't want to wake up.

17
Peace be upon you,

Christians misunderstand the meaning of these two verses:

1.   (John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2.   (John 1:14) The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The meaning of “Word” as in “in the beginning was the Word” is God’s command, and “the Word became flesh” is God’s command has become flesh, that is, Jesus. When God commands anything, He just says to it be and it becomes. Well, the Bible is the word of God. Does this mean that the Bible is god? No, this means that the Bible is God’s command.

In a different word, you can say that (John 1:1) In the beginning was the command/will of God, and the command/will of God was with Him "God", and the command/will of God was God. (John 1:14) The command of God became flesh and made his dwelling among us...

Well, in the Quran, angels told Mary that God is giving you the tidings of a “word” from Him whose name is Jesus. The meaning of “word” is the will of God.

•   Quran (3:45) [And mention] when the angels said, O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].

Then Mary said to the angels, how I would give birth to a child when no man had sex with me? The angels replied, this is God’s commandment, when He decrees a thing, He just says “Be” and “it becomes”.

•   Quran (3:47) She said, “My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?” [The angel] said, “Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.

18
Peace be upon you,

Your friend claimed that he left Islam for Christianity because of his understanding of Isaiah (35:4-6) which says about the coming of Jesus in God on earth.

•   Isaiah (35:4) say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”

Please note that the verse says "your God" “your God will come, he will come with vengeance…” but it does not say that God will come in the shape of a man. God’s knowledge is everywhere and He can send His revenge to the wicked and save the righteous from anywhere. It simply means that God will come to punish and save from anywhere and anytime but NOT as a man because He clearly said that He is not a man.

•   Hosea (11:9) I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.

•   Numbers (23:19) God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Also, please note that Jesus is the son of mankind "Mary" and God said that He is neither a son of man nor a man, therefore, the addition that your friend has added to Isaiah (35:4) that the coming of God will be in Jesus on earth is completely false because Jesus said that he is a man.

•   Acts (2:22) “Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know,

Next, I did not understand why your friend understands from Matthew (11:3-5) that Jesus is god. These verses did not say that Jesus is god, it simply says that the blind will receive sight…the dead are raised… That’s exactly what God said in Quran, it says that Jesus will bring dead people to life BUT by the permission of God.

•   Matthew (11:3) to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” 4 Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: 5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. 6 Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”

•   Quran (3:49) And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah. And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.

God said in Deuteronomy (13:1-5) not to listen to any prophet who asks you to worship other gods. But Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) asked us to worship God which Prophet Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Jacob, etc. worshipped. Please note that verse 5 says that a false prophet must be put to death. But God did not allow anyone to kill Prophet Mohamed (PBUH). He remained alive for 22 years until he delivered Quran to mankind. Also, keep in mind that Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) was engaged in many battles, yet God protected him.

•   Deuteronomy (13:5) That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.

Please note that the verse says that “That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow”, but Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) did not turn us from the way of God. In fact, he brought us very close to God because he forbid adultery, murdering an innocent person for no reason, robbery, and so on and he asked us to help each other and help the needy ones and so on.

Regarding Psaume (3:3), you said that David is the one who calls God and not the other way around. This is correct. Then you said that we also see that David does not have his own glory because the only glory he has is that of God which is therefore not his. This is correct, no one has glory other than God, not even Prophet Mohamed or Jesus or any other Prophet. You also said that the Father “God” did not give glory to men. This is also correct because God said in Isaiah He does not share His glory with anyone.

•   Isaiah (42:8) I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols

And for Psaume (8:5) you said that it is men who were speaking to God about Jesus! No, it is David who was glorifying God and acknowledging His favors on mankind.

Regarding verse John (17:24) which says that God gave His glory to Jesus is modified and false because it contradicts Isaiah (42:8) which says God does not give His glory to no other. The meaning of “no other” is to NONE including Jesus and Mohamed and the greatest angels.

•   John (17:24) “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

My advice to your friend and other Muslims who are leaving Islam because today Muslims are weak is to read the following verses from Quran and Isaiah. God said in Isaiah that He will deliver the Book to the illiterate man. Then God continued and said that He will destroy the people with many miracles because we will be worshipping Him in our mouths and lips, not in our hearts. So, please tell your friends who are leaving Islam and all Muslims to go back to the Book of Allah Quran and you will see the satisfactory results from God. According to Quran, Prophet Mohamed was illiterate.

•   Quran (7:157) Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.

•   Isaiah (29:12-14) Then the book shall be delivered to him who is not learned, saying, “Read this, please.” And he shall say, “I cannot read.” 13 Therefore, the Lord said: Because this people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is tradition by the precept of men, 14 therefore I will once again do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.

I hope this answers your questions, but if you still have more questions, please feel free to ask.

Regards,

Peace be upon you,

I forgot to explain the meaning of verse (16:67) which says from the fruits of palm trees and grapevines YOU take intoxicant. Please note that God is saying here that mankind takes from these trees intoxicant. God is NOT saying that He allowed mankind to take from these trees intoxicant.

•   Quran (16:67) And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason.

And as I mentioned in my original post, God said that intoxicant is from Satan, and in another verse God said not to follow the footsteps of Satan, therefore, alcohol is crystal clear forbidden.

I will provide a few Hadith(s) for the Prophet that he completely prohibited alcohol. I appreciate that there are some who don’t acknowledge some of Hadith Mohamed, but I already proved it from Quran.

•   The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Every intoxicant is khamr (alcohol, wine, beer, etc.), and every khamr is haram (unlawful e.g. prohibited).
Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 3672 Narrated by Abdullah Ibn Abbas

•   I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: Every intoxicant is forbidden; if a quantity of anything causes intoxication, a handful of it is (also) forbidden.
Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 3679 Narrated by Aisha

•   Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) invoked the curse of Allah on ten people in connection with wine: the wine-presser, the one who has it pressed, the one who drinks it, the one who conveys it, the one to whom it is conveyed, the one who serves it, the one who sells it, the one who benefits from the price paid for it, the one who buys it, and the one for whom it is bought.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2776 Narrated by Anas ibn Malik

•   The Prophet (PBUH) said, “He who believes in Allah and the Last Day must not (even) sit at a cloth (table or gathering) where wine is being circulated.”
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 4477 Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Is alcohol forbidden in Islam?
« on: July 23, 2022, 05:09:23 PM »
Peace be upon you,

When God decided to forbid alcohol, He first commanded that you do not pray if you are drunk until you know what you say in the prayer. This is because God wanted to teach those who drink excessively to gradually reduce the amount of alcohol they consumed at one time between each prayer of the five daily prayers.

•   Quran (4:43) O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying…

Then God said that there is a great sin and some benefit in alcohol. The benefit that God intended is the money that they earn from selling the alcohol. However, God first said that there is a great sin then He said some benefit which means there is a great punishment in hellfire.

•   Quran (2:219) They ask you about wine and gambling. Say, "In them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit."…

Then God said that drinking alcohol is the work of Satan, so avoid it. Some Muslims question the prohibition of alcohol because God said in Arabic “aj-taneb-oh” which means avoid it, and had it not been that God intended to forbid it, He would have said “haram” which means forbidden. Well, please note that God said in this verse that drinking alcohol is the work of Satan, and in another verse, God said, don’t follow the footsteps of Satan. Therefore, alcohol is completely prohibited.

•   Quran (5:90) O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants… are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.

•   Quran (24:21) O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing…

The Bible says that little wine is good for your health. But doctors prove that drinking ONLY one glass of alcohol a day will cause cancer. This proves that the Bible is incorrect and modified.

•   1 Timothy (5:23) Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities

Please click on this link to read that drinking ONLY one glass of alcohol a day will cause cancer
https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=little+alcohol+causes+cancer&docid=608044765397458703&mid=A1AB54C7D22A450CEEE0A1AB54C7D22A450CEEE0&view=detail&FORM=VIRE

On the other hand, there is another verse in the Bible that says that wine is not good. As you can see these verses in the Bible contradict themselves.

•   Romans 14:21 - It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Bloomberg News says excess alcohol consumption cost the U.S. economy a quarter-trillion dollars in 2010… because of crimes, car accidents, defects in production, divorce, cost of hospitals and medicine for health concerns, debt, homelessness, and so on.

https://www.bing.com/search?q=cost+of+excessive+alcohol+consumption+in+USA+is+250+billion+dollars+a+year&cvid=16130116ac004addbdb75ae6a6d98ebe&aqs=edge..69i57.34053j0j4&FORM=ANAB01&PC=U531

Christians will dispute this and say that the Bible says “little alcohol” while those who cost the US economy $250 billion in waste annually are consuming “excess alcohol.” Well, let me tell you that every heavy alcohol drinker on earth started with very little but continued to increase gradually until they became an alcoholic.

God said in Quran that when the wicked commit immoral things, they say that God commanded it. But God answered that He does not command $250 billion in waste annually and cancer. Please note that the $250 billion in waste annually is found only in the USA in 2010, not including waste in the rest of the world. Imagine that this wasted money could eradicate poverty on earth.

•   Quran (7:28) And when they commit an immorality, they say, "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has ordered us to do it." Say, "Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?"

If this report makes sense to you, please share it on your social media accounts because God said that those who forbid what is wrong will succeed.

•   Quran (3:104) And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.

May God guide all of us to the straight path,

Asalmo Alaikum,

As we all know that most Sheikh(s) “Imams” receive a monthly wage from a government or other sources for teaching Quran. So, I decided to remind you that Allah has forbidden anyone from earning a penny from teaching Quran.

Allah said that whoever conceals anything from Quran and exchanges it for a small price will have a painful punishment in hellfire. This is for those who don’t teach Quran until they get paid.

•   Quran (2:174) Indeed, they who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.

Allah commanded Muslims to follow those who do NOT ask for any payment. This means that Muslims should study Quran through those who do not charge any money. Allah said that those who don’t ask for any payment are the guided ones. Therefore, those who ask for payment are not guided. As we all know, Satan and the disbelievers are the ones who are not guided.

•   Quran (36:21) Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided.

Prophet (PBUH) said that whoever studies Quran with the intention that he will use this knowledge to find a job and earn money will never smell paradise.

•   Narrated by Abu Dawood, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: He who learns knowledge of that (Quran) which seeks the Mighty Allah, does not learn it except to earn some worldly benefits with it, he will not find the fragrance of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection, meaning its smell.

Prophet (PBUH) also warned that people will come in the future who will teach Quran and will ask people to pay them.

•   On the authority of Imran bin Husayn, that he passed by a reciter reciting (Quran), then he asked (for money), and he returned (back the money to people), then he said: I heard Prophet (PBUH) saying: Whoever recites the Quran, let him ask Allah with it, for there will come people who will recite the Quran and they will ask people with it.

Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) did not allow a man to take a bow from teaching Quran, although his intention was that he wanted to use the bow to fight for the sake of Allah to defend Muslims from the aggressors.

•   Ubadah bin al-Samit said: I taught some people from among the people of the “Sifah” the Book and the Quran, and one of them gave me a bow, so I said: “It is not money, and I throw with it away for the sake of Allah”. So, I will go to the Prophet of Allah (PBUH) and will ask him. So, I said: O Prophet, a man who I taught the Book and the Quran gave me a bow, and it is not money, and I will use it to throw with it away for the sake of Allah. Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) said: If you like to be surrounded by a rope of fire (on the Day of Judgment) then accept it.

After all of these verses and Hadith(s), I am astonished that most Sheikh(s) “Imams” receive a monthly wage from a government or other sources for teaching Quran. The excuse of those who receive payments from teaching the Quran is that Imam Al-Shafi’i allowed earning money from teaching Quran. My first question is who Imam Al-Shafi’I is? He is a man like me and you, and he is not a prophet. All men err, and when we find any mistake, we should correct it, not follow it blindly. My second question is how you know that it is not that the enemy of Islam wrote this and attached it to his books. It does not make any sense to me that Imam Al-Shafi’i read these verses from Quran and Hadith(s) from the Prophet(s) and issued such a fatwa (decision).

Also, the excuse of those who receive payment for teaching Quran is this fabricated Hadith:

•   Ibn Abbas said some of the Prophet’s companions passed a watering-place where there was one who had been stung by a scorpion or bitten by a snake. One of the inhabitants of the watering-place accosted them and asked whether anyone among them could apply a charm, for at the watering-place there was a man who had been stung by a scorpion or bitten by a snake. One of them went and recited chapter Al-Fatihat from Quran in return for some sheep, and he was cured; but when he brought the sheep to his companions they disapproved of that saying, “You have taken payment for God’s Book.” When they came to Medina and told God’s Messenger that he had taken payment for God’s Book, he replied, “The most worthy thing for which you have taken payment is God’s Book.”

Glory be to Allah, how could it be possible that the Prophet (PBUH) said in three Hadith(s) that anyone who receives any payment from reciting/teaching Quran will never enter paradise and then he said in this Hadith that it’s the best thing you do is to receive money from reciting Quran. This Hadith clearly contradicts the other Hadith(s). If we return to Quran to find out whether this Hadith is correct or not, we will find out that it is incorrect because Allah said in Quran that an ill person needs medicine to be cured and the medicine that Allah mentioned in Quran is honey. Allah did not say that we need to read Quran to cure an ill person.

•   Quran (16:69) Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

In fact, the Prophet (PBUH) instructed people to eat honey when they are ill. He did not instruct them to read Quran.

•   A man came to the Prophet and said: My brother is suffering from loose bowels. Prophet said: Let him drink honey. So he drank it. Then he came and said: O Messenger of Allah! He has drunk honey, but it has only made him worse. So the Messenger of Allah said: Let him drink honey. So he drank it. Then he came and said: O Messenger of Allah! I gave him some more to drink, but it has only made him worse. The Messenger of Allah said: Allah has told the truth, and your brother’s stomach has lied. Give him honey to drink. So he gave him some more honey to drink and he was cured.

Also, the excuse of those who earn money from teaching the Quran is that today there is a necessity because people are poor and they don’t have time to work and teach Quran. My first question is why do they need time to preach Quran? Anyone in the mosque can lead the five daily prayers, and the Sheikh “Imam” only has to deliver the Friday ceremony which is half an hour, and one hour to prepare for it. Do they consider one and half hours in a week something hard. Any Sheikh has an hour every day to volunteer teaching Quran after evening prayer and on weekends. I bet you that they spend hours and hours on TV every day.

The only time a Sheikh “Imam” is allowed to earn money from teaching Quran is that he is very serious looking for any job to earn lawful money but unable to find one, then in this situation, he would be allowed to receive Zakah “charity” because he is poor. His intention should be that he is receiving Zakah, not wage from teaching Quran.

If you read Quran, all prophets never received any money from teaching the Book of Allah, they all had jobs. Some Sheikh(s) ask how then Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) used to make a living if he did not earn money from teaching Quran. Well, Prophet Mohamed’s (PBUH) wife Khadijah was a very wealthy woman and she gave him all her money when he became a prophet to help him spread Islam on earth. After 10 years of becoming a Prophet, Allah authorized him to fight the aggressors who used to attack him and allowed him to take their wealth “Ganimah” when he defeated them. Allah allowed one-fifth for the Prophet and the poor as a wage from the war booty “Ganimah”. In this situation, the Prophet was working as a soldier not sitting in an office collecting donations for his monthly wage.

•   Quran (8:41) And know that anything you obtain of war booty - then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion - the day when the two armies met. And Allah, over all things, is competent.

This is proof that Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) never received any money from teaching Quran:

•   Quran (68:46) Or do you ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down?

I hope you understand now why Allah made Muslims slaves on earth and everyone is killing them. May Allah guide all of us to the straight path,

22
Peace be upon you,

The marriage process of the majority of Muslims in Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, and India does not comply with Islamic Sharia’h and therefore God does not accept it.

God commanded a Muslim man in Quran to marry one of his believing maids whom he possesses if he can’t afford to marry a free-believing woman. This means that marrying a free-believing woman is more expensive than a slave-believing woman. However, there are no slaves anymore because Islam came to abolish slavery and equalize between people.

•   Quran (4:25) If any of you cannot afford to marry a free believing woman let him marry one of his believing maids whom he possesses. God best knows your faith. You are one of another. So marry them with their owners permission, and give them their dower according to what is fair

But God commanded two conditions for the marriage to be valid and acceptable. The first condition is that we must have consent from the parents (guardians), and the second condition is that we must pay their dowry in a reasonable manner. This means that the man is responsible for all expenses.

However, the majority of Muslims in Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, and India give the bride a necklace and a ring as a dowry and force her to buy some furniture and clothes and to pay for the cost of the party. In this case, the marriage is invalid and the relationship of the husband and wife is one of adultery, and their children are children of adultery.

The excuse of those who practice this doctrine is that in Islam there is a so-called necessity such as during hardship, it’s permissible to modify God’s law. For example, if you have to eat pork or you die, then it is permissible to eat pork. Thus, a Muslim man today has difficulty bearing all the expenses of the marriage alone, in this case, it is permissible for him to share some of the expenses with the wife.

But they are ignorant that God said in the Quran that a man should refrain from marriage until God enriches him from His bounty. This means that a man is not allowed to ask his wife to help him. If a man is not able to afford all the expenses of marriage, he is not allowed to marry and has to wait until he is capable.

•   Quran (24:33) But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty…

Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) commanded a man to fast if he couldn’t afford the expenses of marriage. The Prophet did not command the man to ask alimony from the wife.

•   Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) said, O young men, those of you who can support a wife should marry, for it (marriage) controls the gaze and preserves one from immorality. And whoever cannot (marry) should fast, for it is a means of reducing the sexual desire.

God said in Quran that it is not permissible for anyone to modify what God and His prophet have decided in a matter, and whoever does, then has strayed into clear error.

•   Quran (33:36) It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.

Please send this post to all your friends in these countries because Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) said whosoever of you sees an evil must change it.

•   Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) said: “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith.”

Peace be upon you,

The fabricated hadith, which contains a great trap, says the following:

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "If you had not committed any sin, Allah would have destroyed you and created in your place those who would have committed sin (but whom He would have forgiven because of their repentance)." Muslim, Tawbah, 9, (2748); Tirmidhi, Da'awat 105, (3533)

So according to this rumor/rumor, if a society never sins, it will be destroyed. But of course this lie was invented to mislead people and lead them to sin.

The translation of the hadith you provided is incorrect. For those who can't read Arabic, please copy the hadith and go to google translate and paste it to translate it to English or any language you speak https://translate.google.com/?sl=auto&tl=en&op=translate
This is the hadith in Arabic قال الرسول ﷺ: والذي نفسي بيده لو لم تذنبوا؛ لذهب الله بكم، ولجاء بقوم غيركم يذنبون، فيستغفرون الله؛ فيغفر لهم

The correct translation is "if you had not sinned; God will take you away," but you said, "God will destroy you". I already explained twice and gave you verses from Quran to prove the authenticity of this hadith but you are still disputing it and providing me with irrelevant verses from Quran. It's true that God said in Quran that He will destroy those who sin, but the destruction is for those who don't repent and ask for forgiveness. One of the names of God is (Saboor = Patient) which means He is patient with our sins and gives us time to correct ourselves.

  • Quran (35:45) And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.

However, the Hadith clearly says you MUST ask for forgiveness. The reason Prophet Mohamed said this hadith is to tell people that you will never be able to do complete righteousness because God alone is perfect and you will sin from one time to another, but he gave us the solution which is to ask for forgiveness and repent. He also said this hadith to give us hope that God will forgive us if we ask for forgiveness and repent and not despair from the mercy of God.

I know that Quran is the only book that is preserved and protected by God, but for Hadith, we refer to Quran, if hadith agrees with Quran, we would accept it otherwise we don't. And this hadith agrees with Quran and I provided you with the verses from Quran. Please read the previous post.

My dear friend and brother, thank you so much for your attempt to explain to me Quran, may God forgives your sins and our sins and grant all of us paradise. However, I will not respond to your posts regarding this subject anymore because I already answered your allegations a few times.

With sincere respect,[/size]

Peace be upon you all,

Regarding Hadith “Every son of Adam repeatedly sins, and the best of those who sin are those who regularly repent” I copied the translation of this Hadith from a website and did not pay attention to the word “repeatedly” which may cause confusion among the readers.

The Hadith in Arabic: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: كلُّ بني آدم خَطَّاءٌ, وخيرُ الخَطَّائِينَ التوابون
The accurate translation of this Hadith is “All children of Adam make mistakes, and the best of sinners are those who repent.”

When Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) said that every human makes mistakes did not mean to encourage people to sin. He meant to say that humans are not perfect and will make mistakes. However, he gave us the solution of how to receive forgiveness when we sin by repenting and asking God for forgiveness.

قال الرسول ﷺ: والذي نفسي بيده لو لم تذنبوا؛ لذهب الله بكم، ولجاء بقوم غيركم يذنبون، فيستغفرون الله؛ فيغفر لهم
He also said, By the One in whose hand is my soul, if you did not sin, God would replace you with people who would sin, and they would seek forgiveness from God and He would forgive them.

When Prophet also said that if we don’t sin, God will replace us with other people who would sin, and they would ask for forgiveness and God will forgive them DID NOT mean to tell people to sin intentionally. He meant to give Muslims hope that God will forgive us IF we repent and ask for forgiveness.

The meaning of these two Hadith is in these two verses:

1.   Quran (6:54) And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

2.   Quran (39:53) Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

When God said that He will forgive all sins did not mean to tell people to sin intentionally, but He meant to encourage people to forsake their sins and do righteousness.

I already explained in my post how to receive forgiveness e.g. good doings will wipe off sins and every good doing is considered 10 credits and every sin is one point...

You said, “Repentance in the Quran requires you to amend and to confess and to make it public…” This is incorrect. You don’t have to tell the public about your sins. You only have to repent sincerely in your heart.

•   Quran (33:5) … And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred but [only for] what your hearts intended...

You said to Muslims who believe that praying in Makkah is equivalent to hundreds of thousands of prayers somewhere else and you said that they will bark in hellfire…
First, this is not professional to use the word “bark” because the aim of debating the Quran is to explain the truth about God. When a Muslim does ANY good, it’s up to God to accept it and decide to forgive all his/her sins or may not accept it at all. We are not allowed to draw a conclusion of whether God will accept or not because God said in (18:26) He shares not His legislation with anyone. Therefore, if you draw a conclusion on which deeds will be accepted and which not, then, in this case, you are sharing yourself with God, and this may make you a disbeliever, but God knows best. You also used (40:47), (14:21), (34:31-33) to prove your point. Please note that these verses are for the disbelievers, not for the Muslims because it says “They will say, If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you” and Muslims are guided but practice some ignorant.

Thank you all for sharing your knowledge with us. I want to wish all Muslims all the very best and congratulate them on Eid Al-Adha.

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / What is Islam
« on: June 30, 2022, 07:24:09 PM »
Peace be upon you,

   Muslims believe that God is One, He is the Self-sufficient One, He begets not, and neither is He begotten, and there is nothing like Him.

Muslims believe that God is not Jesus. Muslims believe that Jesus is one of the Prophets of God. Muslims know God by His 99 names. To name some, the Almighty, the Forgiving, the Generous, the Merciful, Harsh in punishing those who disobey Him, the Compassionate, the Loving, etc. God is completely different than all His creatures.

In Islam, God does not expect people to be perfect, but He expects them to keep asking for forgiveness when they sin. This does not mean that a person can sin intentionally and at any time and all they have to do is ask for forgiveness, it means for those who sin unintentionally. All sinners have to say, “O God, forgive me” but must be sincere and intend to do their best not to sin again, but we will continue to sin. So, we have to keep asking for forgiveness and to do our best to repent.

•   Prophet Mohamed said: Every son of Adam repeatedly sins, and the best of those who sin are those who regularly repent. He also said, By the One in whose hand is my soul, if you did not sin, God would replace you with people who would sin, and they would seek forgiveness from God and He would forgive them.

Muslims believe that God will count a sin as one point and a good deed as 10 points. For example, if you say good morning to your children or neighbour, you will receive 10 credits. If you cook food for yourself or your family, you will receive 10 credits. But if you don’t feed the dog and keep him hungry, you will lose one credit. In this case, don’t you think that God is very Merciful in Islam? Muslims also believe that good deeds will wipe off bad deeds.

•   Quran (6:16) Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [to his credit], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged.

•   Quran (11:114) And establish the prayer (at the) two ends (of) the day and (at) the approach of the night. Indeed, the good deeds remove the evil deeds. That (is) a reminder for those who remember.

Only in the case when a Muslim helps those who are in need and donate to them, they will receive 700 credits and God may increase their rewards. What’s more mercy would you expect than 700 credits for only helping those in need e.g. giving a poor a sandwich or a glass of water.

•   Quran (2:261) The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies the reward even more to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

•   Prophet Mohamed said: Save yourself from the hell fire even with half a date (to be given in charity) and if you do not find a half date, then with a good pleasant word.

   Non-Muslims believe that Muslims want to force Islam unto everyone. This is completely incorrect. In fact Muslims are not allowed to enforce Islam unto anyone. It’s either a person accepts Islam willingly and for the love of God or God does not want them. God said in Quran that there shall be no compulsion in religion.

•   Quran (2:256) There shall be no compulsion in religion; the right way has become distinct from the wrong way.
Whoever renounces evil and believes in God has grasped the most trustworthy handle; which does not break. God is Hearing and Knowing.

God told Muslims in Quran to remind non-Muslims only, and we are not controllers over them. This means that we are not allowed to force them unto Islam. God alone will punish those who disbelieve. Muslims are not allowed to punish or kill those who refuse to accept Islam as a religion.

•   Quran (88:21 - 24) So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. You are not over them a controller. However, he who turns away and disbelieves - Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.

God also said that we are allowed to explain Islam to non-Muslims in nice manner only, and whoever wills, let him believe, and whoever wills, let him disbelieve. God alone will punish those who disbelieve, not Muslims.

•   Quran (16:125) Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good advice, and debate with them in the most dignified manner. Your Lord is aware of those who stray from His path, and He is aware of those who are guided.

•   Quran (18:29) And say, “The truth is from your Lord. Whoever wills-let him believe. And whoever wills-let him disbelieve”. We have prepared for the unjust a Fire, whose curtains will hem them in. And when they cry for relief, they will be relieved with water like molten brass, which scalds the faces. What a miserable drink, and what a terrible place.

   Non-Muslims believe that Muslims believe in “Jihad” i.e. killing non-Muslims. This is completely incorrect. The meaning of “Jihad” is to do your best to achieve the best result in anything you do i.e. when you work for your employer, you must do your best to do a good job; if anyone attacks you, you must do your best to fight to defend yourself; and so on. Muslims don’t believe in killing innocent people regardless of their religion. Islamic law allows the use of force in self-defence and in defence of those who are oppressed and unable to defend themselves only. If Muslims initiate the fight, God will not love them and will be destroyed in hellfire forever.

•   Quran (2:190) Fight in the way of God against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! God loveth not aggressors.

When Muslims fight the aggressors for self-defence and if they ask for peace in the middle of the battle, Muslims should incline towards peace and cease the fight.

•   Quran (8:61) But if they incline towards peace, then incline towards it, and put your trust in God. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

If Muslims begin fight or kill deliberately innocent person for no reason, God will punish them in hellfire forever.

•   Quran (4:93) Whoever kills a believer deliberately, the penalty for him is Hell, where he will remain forever. And God will be angry with him, and will curse him, and will prepare for him a terrible punishment.

You may ask why then Muslims keep fighting and kill each other as we see on TV. Please note that those are NOT Muslims. They are the enemies of Islam and hate Muslims so they use Islam in their fights to damage our reputation.

   Non-Muslims believe that when Prophet Mohamed was weak in Makkah, he preached about peace, but in Medina, as he gained power, he changed his approach to military. This is completely incorrect because Quran was sent to be a solution to mankind to all times until the day of judgement, not only to Mohamed’s time. Quran was NOT sent completely to Mohamed at one time. Verses of Quran were revealed to Mohamed gradually based on the challenges he used to deal with. In Medina God commanded him to fight those who attacked him for self-defence. He had a small army and he used to fight huge armies and God protected him at all times. While God said to Moses in the Torah that if a liar claimed to be a prophet, God will kill him. Quran from beginning to end is about peace, relationships, fighting the enemy if they begin hostile without killing innocent people, animals, gardens, etc.

You may ask about verse (9:5) which Muhammad was told to slay the idolaters wherever he finds them. Please note that God is talking in this verse about the polytheists who made a treaty with Mohamed that they will not fight against him, but they broke their covenant and betrayed him and fought against him and killed many of his followers. So, God commanded Mohamed to slay them wherever he finds them because God knows they are not trustworthy. But if the innocent among them ask for protection, God commended Mohamed to grant them protection. So, please understand that this is not for all mankind. This is the proof:

•   Quran (9:4) Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].

Then God said in next verse to kill the polytheists wherever you find them. This is because in previous verse God said “if they don’t violate the treaty or support anyone against you”, but they violated it.

•   Quran (9:5) And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Then God commanded Mohamed in next verse to protect those who don’t violate the treaty from the polytheists.

•   Quran (9:6) And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.

   You may also ask about verse (9:29) which says Muslims are to fight against those to whom the Scriptures “Bible and Torah” were given until they pay tribute.

Please note that this verse was revealed because Jews and Christians refused to pay taxes to the city. The city needs to pay for cleaning roads, police, welfare for all religions, and so on. Then God commended Mohamed to fight them until they pay the taxes. Please note that God said to fight them until they pay the tribute, He did not say until you SLAY them. There is nothing wrong for asking citizens to pay tax and if they refuse, the government should impose fine against them or imprison them. This happened everywhere on earth today.

•   Quran (9:29) Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture [Torah and Bible] - [fight] until they give the jizyah [tribute] willingly while they are humbled.

You may wonder why only Christians and Jews have to pay jizyah (tax). This is because Muslims have to pay Zakah, 2.5% of their wealth tax. If Christians and Jews pay the taxes, Prophet Mohamed is not allowed to fight them or enforce them to accept Islam. He is only allowed to preach Quran in good manners as I explained above.

   You may also ask about verse (8:39) which says that after winning a crucial battle, Muhammad received instruction from God that permanently authorizes holy wars to spread Islam. Please note that in this verse, God is talking about those who hinder people from praying at the sacred Mosque (Ka’ba), and those who pay their money to hinder people from the way of God. This is not for all mankind.

•   Quran (8:33) But what plea have they that Allah should not punish them, when they keep out (men) from the sacred Mosque - and they are not its guardians? No men can be its guardians except the righteous; but most of them do not understand.

•   Quran (8:35) The unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the path of Allah and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell.

•   Quran (8:37) Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from unbelief) their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them)

•   Quran (8:38) And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.

•   Quran (8:39) If they refuse, be sure that Allah is your protector the Best to protect and the Best to help.

   In fact, God wants Muslims to be friends with all mankind regardless of their religion and to be just when dealing with them as long as they don’t fight us in order to encourage them to read the Quran.

•   Quran (60:8) Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

Please note that God said in Quran He sent Prophet Mohamed to be a mercy to mankind to save them from hellfire, not to kill them. But those who rejected him and attacked him, God commanded him to fight them for self-defence.

•   Quran (21:107) And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.

   There are five pillars of Islam:

1.   For anyone to be a Muslim, they must believe in their heart and say in their tongue the testimony (Al-shahadah): I testify that there is no god but one God, and I testify that Mohamed is His prophet,

2.   Five daily prayers (each takes an average of 8 minutes, morning, noon, afternoon, evening, and night)
If anyone is disabled, they must pray while sleeping in bed or sitting in a chair but can’t ignore it.

3.   Fasting one month in Ramadan from sunrise till sunset, no food, drink, or sex during this time. If a person is sick and can’t fast, they must fast the missing days after Ramadan. If a person is sick for serious reasons and can’t fast, they shouldn’t fast but must feed one poor person for every missing day (average $10 a day). If a person is sick and does not have money, God will not hold them liable.

4.   Zakah (paying charity): every year Muslims must pay 2.5% of their savings above $10,000 to the poor. Necessities like house, car, furniture, etc are not included, only savings.

5.   Pilgrimage: any person who is physically and financially capable of undertaking a journey to Makkah “Saudi Arabia” must do so only once in their lifetime. If incapable, God will not hold them liable.

   The reason God prescribed five prayers to Muslims every few hours a day is to keep reminding them to stay away of evil i.e. to remind them not to cheat, murder, harass people, etc. and to remind them to keep the commandments of God i.e. donate to charity, act justly, be dedicated at work, etc. It’s like an alarm, we set up the alarm at certain time to help us wake up on time and avoid being late. God said in Quran that the purpose of prayer is to prohibit immorality and wrongdoing.

•   Quran (29:45) Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.

   The reason God prescribed fasting to Muslims in Ramadan from sunrise till sunset from food, water, and sex is to make them taste the suffering of hunger and thirst to help them remember that there are poor people who are also suffering from hunger so we help them by donating money, food, clothes, protection, etc. The meaning of Ramadan is a name of an Arabic month, like in English January, February, etc. Some people may think that fasting 15 hours a day is impossible, but when you fast for the love of God and fear from God, He will make fasting extremely easy for you and you will never feel tired. God said in Quran that the purpose of fasting is that you may become righteous.

•   Quran (2:183) O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.

Then God said in Quran that we will never achieve righteousness until we donate to the poor from our money.

•   Quran (3:92) You will never achieve righteousness until you donate some of what you cherish. And whatever you give is certainly well known to Allah.

•   Prophet Mohamed said, whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.

   The reason that God prescribed to Muslims to pay Zakah (charity) is to purify them and delete their sins and cause their wealth to increase. When we donate to the poor, God will help us find a better job with better pay, so our incomes increase.

•   Quran (9:103) Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah’s blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

   There are six pillars of belief:

1.   Muslims believe in one God, who is not Jesus, we don’t associate any partner with Him i.e. God has no son,

2.   And His angels,

3.   And all His prophets from Adam… Abraham… Jesus… until the last prophet Mohamed. We are not allowed to make distinction between any of them. We should treat all of them in the same manner we treat Mohamed.

4.   And all the books that God sent to mankind i.e. Torah for Prophet Moses (some of it are currently modified), Bible for Prophet Jesus (some of it are currently modified), and Quran for Prophet Mohamed (which God promised to protect it from modifications till the end of the world). Please click this link
https://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2015/07/22/oldest-quran-manuscript-found-orig.cnn/video/playlists/the-quran/ to watch non-Muslims from England who tested the original copy of Quran that was written more than 1400 years and compared it to the current copy of Quran that we have today and found it to be the same.

5.   And the unseen (we don’t know the future, whatever happens, is the will of God whether good or not, and we must accept it and be grateful to God even if it’s not good),

6.   And the Day of Judgment, people will go to either hellfire or heaven forever. There will be no savoir. Every human is responsible for their doings.

   There are many scientific miracles knowledge in Quran that was recently discovered with technology that was not available during the time of Prophet Mohamed. To name few, there are two seas in the same sea that meet together but there is a barrier between them and the water of each sea does not merge with the other. Today, scientists discovered that there are two oceans in the Gulf of Alaska that meet but never mix.

•   Quran (55:19-20) He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together. Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass

   God said in Quran that there are 7 layers of heaven and 7 layers of earth. Scientists discovered today that there are seven layers of earth. For more information about other miracles, please read Quran.

•   Quran (65:12) It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them…

•   Quran (71:15) Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers.

   The question is how Mohamed knew these miracles? Non-Muslims believe that the bad angels or Satan passed these secrets to Mohamed so people may believe that he is a prophet. But, when Mohamed told people about these miracles, the disbelievers mocked him and accused him that he is crazy. Therefore, if Satan is the one who passed these secrets to Mohamed, he did not benefit anything because these secrets discouraged people from believing Mohamed because he did not have any technology to prove it, and they thought he is crazy.

•   Quran (15:6) And they say, O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad.

The next question is how these bad angels or Satan foreseen the future and knew that a day will come unto people and invent technology that will prove these miracles if the Bible says that no one has the power to predict and reveal future events or know what tomorrow holds except God alone.

•   Revelation (5:2-3) And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.

•   Matthew (24:36) But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

This is to prove that God is the one who told Prophet Mohamed about theses miracles.

Please note that when God said “I am” in Exodus (3:14), He used in Greek “ho on”, but, when Jesus said in John (8:58) “I am”, he used in Greek “ego eimi”. Those are two different words, but those who translated the Bible from Greek to English translated it incorrectly.

The correct meaning is of "I am":

Please note that the Greek translation of the Hebrew text in Exodus (3.14) is “Ego eimi ho On”. The Creator’s description of Himself is translated into Greek as (ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ὤν Ego eimi ho on = I am the One Who IS). But in John 8.24, “...I am (he)! (ἐγώ εἰμι Ego eimi)” is the Greek translation of the Hebrew statement “I (am) he (אֲנִי֙ ה֔וּא Anee hoo)”. I found a video on Youtube that explains the meaning of “I am” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzheOdj0cFg

Peace be upon you,

Christians believe that Jesus is god or son of God “equal to God” because of a few verses in the Bible that they misunderstood and I will explain them and prove that Jesus is neither God nor son of God.

•   John (8:58) Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”

Christians believe that when Jesus said “I am” in John (8:58), he meant the same “I am” that God used in Exodus (3:14). Therefore, Jesus is god.

•   Exodus (3:14) God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Please note that when God said “I am” in Exodus (3:14), He used in Greek “ho on”, but, when Jesus said in John (8:58) “I am”, he used in Greek “ego eimi”. Those are two different words, but those who translated the Bible from Greek to English translated it incorrectly.

If Jesus meant to say that (before Abraham was, I am “god”), why then he said in John (5:30) that “by myself, I can do nothing”? God said in the Bible that He is self-sufficient. When Jesus said that by himself he can do nothing meant that he is dependent on God. If Jesus depends on someone else, then he is not God. When Jesus said “before Abraham was, I am”, he simply meant to say that before God created Abraham, and before God placed mankind on earth, he was in the knowledge of God that he will be the Messiah “Prophet”.

•   John (5:30) By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

Also, if Jesus meant to say that (before Abraham was, I am “god”), why then he said “The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father”? This clearly means that he is not god because he does not have any authority.

•   John (14:10) Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work

•   John (14:6) Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jesus said “I am the way and the truth…” Please note that every prophet that God sent to mankind from Adam, Noah, John, Zachariah, Moses, Joseph, etc. was also the way and the truth because all those prophets preached the message of God to mankind. Therefore, they were the way and truth.

Jesus said “No one comes to the Father except through me” which means “through his teaching” which is the Bible that God gave to him to preach to people. Christians assumed that it means “except through worshiping me” which is completely incorrect because Jesus clearly testified in the Bible that he is not God. He said “the Lord our God” which means his God too. Also, note that Jesus said “the Lord is one” which means that Jesus is not part of God i.e. trinity.

•   Mark (12:29) Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

When Jesus said “I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me”, he did not mean to say that he and the Father are one. “I am in the Father” means he is protected and supported by God, and “that the Father is in me” means that the love of God is in Jesus’ heart e.g. Jesus keeps thinking of how to please God.

Christians will disagree and say that John (10:30) says that Jesus and the Father are one. Therefore, Jesus is god.

•   John (10:30) I and my Father are one

But in next verses, when the Jews heard Jesus saying that he and the Father are one, they picked up stones to stone him because they told him you are claiming that you are god.

•   John (10:31) Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him

•   John (10:33) “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

In next verse, Jesus told the Jews, is not written in your own Scriptures that God said you all are gods. Jesus told Jew you all are gods, does this mean that Jews are gods? No, “gods” mean those who preach the commandments of God e.g. messengers of God.

•   John (10:34) Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law: 'I said you are gods'?

Then Jesus said in John (17:21 & 23) to his disciples Peter, Thomas, Judas, etc. that you all are in me just as I in the Father. Does this mean that these disciples are also gods? No. Therefore, when Jesus said “I and my Father are one” meant to say “one in the same purpose” which is to preach the commandments of God to mankind e.g. messenger of God, not “one in nature.” “One in the purpose” does not mean that Jesus is equal to God. “Purpose” means that both God and His servant Jesus have the same purpose which is to preach the commandments of God to mankind.

•   John (17:21) that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

•   John (17:23) I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Christians also misunderstand the meaning of these two verses.

•   (John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

•   (John 1:14) The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

“In the beginning was the Word” – the meaning of “Word” is the commandment of God.
“The Word became flesh” – means the commandment of God which is “be and it is” became flesh that is Jesus.

Well, the Bible is the Word of God. Does this mean that the Bible is god? No, it means that the Bible is the commandments of God.

In Quran, the angels told Mary that God gives you good news of a “WORD” from Him who is Jesus. The meaning of “WORD” is a commandment.

•   Quran (3:45) [And mention] when the angels said, O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].

Then Mary told the angels, how will I have a child when no man ever has sex with me? The angels replied, this is the commandment of God, when He wants anything, He only says to it “Be” and it is.

•   Quran (3:47) She said, “My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?” [The angel] said, “Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.

God is one God, and Jesus is a lord. The meaning of lord in the Bible for Jesus is a servant of God, prophet, messenger, teacher, sir, leader, mediator, and king. It doe not mean God.

•   Ephesians (1:3) “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”

•   1 Timothy (2:5-6) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Christians believe that God came to earth in the shape of a man “Jesus”, but God says He is not a man.

Christians misunderstand the meaning of “they worshipped Jesus” and assumed that he is god. Please note that the meaning of “let all the angels of God worship Him” is “let all angels of God accept him as a leader”. God also said in Quran that He instructed all angels to bow “prostrate” to Adam. This does not mean that Adam is god or equal to God. It just simply means that God wants all angels to accept Adam as a leader.

•   Hebrews (1:6) And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, “And let all the angels of God worship Him.”

•   Quran (2:34) And [mention] when We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam”; so they prostrated, except for Iblees (Satan). He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

Those who are in the boat “worshiped him” mean that they obeyed him and followed his teaching. Please note that they told him “you are son of God”, they did not tell him “you are god”.

•   Matthew (14:33) And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”

Some Christians believe that since they told him son of God, therefore he is equal to God “e.g. Trinity”. Well, the Bible also says that Adam, Ephraim, etc. are sons of God. Does this mean that Ephraim is equal to God? No, this is the same for Jesus. The meaning of son of God does not mean partner with God or little god or equal to God because God said in Isaiah (42:8) that He does not share His glory with anyone. “Son of God” means one who God loved and chose among people to preach His message to mankind because he is more sincere and dedicated to God than other mankind.

•   Jeremiah (31:20) Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight...

•   Luke (3:38) Kenan was the son of Enosh. Enosh was the son of Seth. Seth was the son of Adam. Adam was the son of God.

This verse says “king of the Jews” which means leader. Then it says (the star comes to worship him) which means it comes to follow him.

•   Matthew (2:2) “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

If the meaning of “worship me” above is Jesus is god, why did he say in this verse “the Father is greater than I”.

•   John (14:28) You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

And why did he say in this verse “My father… is greater than all”.

•   John (10:29) My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

And why did he say in this verse “…they belong to the Father who sent me”.

•   John (14:24) … These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

And why did he say in this verse “the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent”.

•   John (17:3) Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

And why did he say in this verse “Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN approved by God to you”.

•   Acts (2:22) “Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know,

And why did he tell people that he is nothing, not even good? God alone is “good”.

•   Luke (18:18-19) Then a certain ruler asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “No one is good except God alone.

Christians believe that when Jesus said that he is not good or a man approved by God or etc., he meant to humble himself like a human. Well, in this situation, Jesus misled mankind, and this is impossible. This is only the way how Christians think, and this is not from the Bible. There is not a single verse in the Bible that Jesus “himself” claimed explicitly that he is god. But in Quran, there are many verses where Allah clearly declared that He is God.

•   Quran (20:14) Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance.

Please note that all Arabic-speaking people from all religions call God “Allah” including Christians. So, you should know that Christians who speak Arabic call God “Allah”. Allah is the translation of God.

I am sure you all know that Prophet Mohamed was illiterate.

•   Isaiah (29:12) And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot read.”

Therefore, Prophet Mohamed fulfilled the prophecy in Isaiah, because Jesus was a teacher which means he was literate. Isaiah says that the prophet will be illiterate. This is to prove that God was speaking about another man other than Jesus.

Cheers and keep in mind that the fire of hell is not for a few moments and you exit, it’s FOREVER.

Peace be upon you,

Regarding your argument that some Muslims will not enter hellfire for a limited time, and the sinners among Muslims will be punished on earth before they die is incorrect. Many Muslims will enter hellfire but for a limited time according to their sins if God decided not to forgive them.

God said in Quran that those who will enter hellfire will abide in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what God will. The meaning of “they will abide in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure” does not mean the earth we live on today or the heaven we see in our naked eyes. It will be different earth and heavens because God said in Quran that He will replace the earth and heavens. Also the meaning of “they will abide in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure” is “will abide in it forever”

•   Quran (14:48) [It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens [as well], and all creatures will come out before Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

The meaning of “except what God will” is “except they will NOT abide in hellfire forever e.g. will enter hellfire temporary and then exit and enter paradise forever”.

God also said that those who will enter paradise will abide in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what God will. The meaning of “they will abide in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure” is “they will enter paradise immediately forever and will not be punished in hellfire”. And the meaning of “except what God will” is “they will NOT enter paradise immediately and they will be punished temporarily in hellfire and then enter paradise”.

•   Quran (11:106) As for those who were [destined to be] wretched, they will be in the Fire. For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling.
•   (107) [They will be] abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will. Indeed, your Lord is an effecter of what He intends.
•   (108) And as for those who were [destined to be] prosperous, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will - a bestowal uninterrupted.

God said in Quran that Christians and Jews know that Mohamed is the Prophet of God and Quran is the Holy Book of God as they know their own children, but they refuse to believe because they are arrogant.

God said in Isaiah that His servant will GROW UP in a DRY LAND. Jesus grew up in Nazareth which is a VERY fertile land (with many gardens). While Mohamed grew up in Makkah (Saudi Arabia) which is a desert e.g. dry land.

•   Isaiah (53-2) He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

Also, God said that His servant will sing a song of praise to God from the EASTERN border of Egypt which is Saudi Arabia where Mohamed came from. But Jesus came from Nazareth which is the NORTH of Egypt.

Kedar is the son of Ishmael. Kedar lived near the eastern border of Egypt which is Saudi Arabia. God said that His servant will sing a song of praise to God in the city where Kedar lived, which is Saudi Arabia.

•   Genesis (25:13) These are the names of the sons of Ishmael…then Kedar…

•   Genesis (25:18) [Ishmael] His descendants settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the eastern border of Egypt, as you go toward Ashur…

•   Isaiah (42:10-12) Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth…let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice

Do Christians need a magnifier to see these SUPER CRYSTAL CLEAR verses to understand that God was talking about another man other than Jesus? Christians and Jews know all of these facts but they don’t want to believe because they don’t want to follow Mohamed who is an Arab man because they are arrogant and think that they are superior to Arabs.
