What does Quran mean by ''SEVEN EARTHS" ?
« on: March 22, 2015, 12:45:29 PM »
Assalamualykum Brother Osama

Sorry, i have been busy coz of exams ..missed you a lot.. Brother do you have facebook?

Okay lets comeback to the issue...

'' It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.'' (65:12)

brother , in the above verse Allah says He has created seven Heavens and earth of the same number.... how is it possible? In some other verses Allah says that Planets and Stars are confined within the domain of the First heaven... Moreover does it imply that Earth is flat and there are 6 more earths under this Earth? S Does it also mean that Earth is not a planet? some say it's directing to the seven layers of earth for example lithosphere, mesosphere etc... but there not specifically seven layers...there are less than that . i am confused about this..  Some are using this to say that according to Quran Earth is Flat

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear brother Farhan,

Welcome back dear brother!  We miss you here as well.  I hope Insha'Allah everything had been all well for you and your family.  Ameen.

As to my facebook account akhi, I rarely go there, but it is www.facebook.com/QuranSearchCom.

As to Noble Verse 65:12, Allah Almighty didn't say the same number.  He Said a similar number (Google Translation):

[065:012]  God is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number ??? ????? ?????. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that God has power over all things, and that God comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge.

?65:12 ???? ???? ??? ??? ????? ??? ????? ????? ????? ????? ????? ??????? ?? ???? ??? ?? ?? ???? ??? ???? ?? ???? ??? ?? ????

Each Heaven has so many Earths in it.  But it is quite clear from this Noble Verse that the number of earths are not exactly the same.  Now the proof that Allah Almighty didn't say that each Heaven has ONE EARTH is the fact that the Almighty used the Word ????? (similar to; like).  If each Heaven had only one earth, then all of their numbers would be exact.  But the fact that Allah Almighty Said ????? proves that:

1-  There are more than one earth.

2-  The number of earths in each Heaven vary.

3-  The number of earths between in all Heavens are similar to each others.

Not only that, but it is also worth noting that the properties of earth are in harmony with the number 7.  For example:

From www.answering-christianity.com/earth.htm:

(a)-  There are seven atmospheric layers:

1. Troposphere

2. Stratosphere

3. Ozonosphere

4. Mesosphere

5. Thermosphere

6. Ionosphere

7. Exosphere

(b)-  There are 7 inner layers for earth:

1. Crust

2. Lithosphere

3. Upper mantle

4. Astenoshpere

5. Lower mantle

6. Outer core

7. Inner core

(c)-  There are seven official continents:

1. North America

2. South America

3. Australia

4. Asia

5. Africa

6. Antarctica

7. Europe

So the earths that exist out there should be similar to the one that we are living in; at least for the mankinds that are like us.

The Angels were concerned about creating humans on earth:

Another proof that there are other earths are the following Noble Verses:

"And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.  (The Noble Quran, 42:29)"

"Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: 'I will create a vicegerent on Earth.' They said: 'Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?' He said: 'I know what ye know not.'  (The Noble Quran, 2:30)"

Certainly here the Angels had a previous bad experience with mankind before even Adam was created.  So Adam, peace be upon him, was not the first human.  This proves that:

1-  Either previous humans existed before us here on earth.

2-  Or previous and current humans exist elsewhere outside earth.

And Allah Almighty always Knows Best.  Please visit:

I hope this helps Insha'Allah, dear brother Farhan.  Please don't hesitate to come back with more questions.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

This verse ...
'' It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.'' (65:12)

Means, there are 7 Earths that are similar to out Earth......read carefully,,,,,,7 heavens....AND OF THE EARTH, THE LIKE OF THEM.
That means the 7 planets, that are beneath Earth, being.... MARS, JUPITER, SATURN, URANUS, NEPTUNE , PLUTO, SAQAR ( NIBIRU)
Nibiru is called Saqar in the Quran, and scientists only discovered Nibiru as they call it, quite some years ago.
As for mars and mercury they are not classed as Earths, because they are too close to the Sun.

Be careful, QuranSearchCom, you are almost there, but it requires more simplicity than your long winded accounts and self appraisal and thoughts of the Qurans interpretations. You do but guess so much. The correct tafsir is that of the 7 planets being the 7 Earths besides our own Earth. The verse about Abraham trying to find Allah, and he watches the stars, till he decides he can not worship them is a clue as to this verse above...65:12.....

I don't mind people disagreeing with me and with everyone, but please do not lie on the Glorious Quran!  Show us hwere Nibiru is called Saqar in the Glorious Quran?  Show us the Noble Verse.  Saqar is another name for Hell Fire.  Don't fabricate nonsense on the Quran.

"O my father! Verily, I saw (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon - I saw them prostrating themselves to me." (Yusuf: 4).

In the Quran Allah used separate words to refer to planets and stars.. for stars Allah used ''Najm'' and for planets Allah used ''Kawkab''... in the above verse it's referring to 11 ''kawkabs'' that means eleven planets..and u know there are 11 planets in our solar system which are:
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Dwarf planet Ceres, Dwarf planet Pluto and Dwarf planet Eris.

A good definition of the meaning of the word kaukab in the Quran Seems to have been given in a very famous verse. The eminently spiritual nature of its deeper meaning stands forth, and is moreover the subject of much debate among experts in exegesis. It is nevertheless of great interest to offer an account of the comparison it contains on the subject of the word that would seem to designate a 'planet'.

Here is the text in question: (sura 24, verse 35)

"God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as if there were a niche and within it a luminary. The luminary is in a glass. The glass is as if it were a planet glittering like a pearl."

Here the subject is the projection of light onto a body that reflects it (glass) and gives it the glitter of a pearl, like a planet that is lit by the sun. This is the only explanatory detail referring to this word to be found in the Quran.

In sura 37, verse 6, we see the following:

"We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets."

So the planets are confined to the domain of the first Heaven...

May Allah guide us

seems that tafseer interpreted the verse as each layer of heaven contains earth-like planet (with trees, water, living creatures etc)

and if we read it along with the verse that say lowest heaven contains many planets, it can also be interpreted in such manner that earth-like planets may be found in lowest heaven.

Afterall human's knowledge is pretty much limited. and only the  Creator encompassed all things in knowledge.

mmm... another possible explanation: There might be some objects or places in the other heavens which support life like earth...they might not have the properties like the planets... might be something else ..they might have distinct characteristics...

If Allah meant to say that the number of Earth is same as the heavens, He could have directly said  ''God is He Who created seven Firmaments and seven earths . Through the midst of them ...'' . But Allah didn't say so instead He said: ''God is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number.Through the midst of them.."

So know one knows what exact reason is, but how would we response to those Atheist who say that "There is no Science in Quran, Muslims just try and make excuse and proof that Quran contains Science. You can try and make science in William Shakespeare poetry. "

Some people say it is seven layers of the atmosphere. But the Holy Qur'an also says that Allah Almighty has created stars in the nearest heaven.

Nibiru DOES NOT exist, it's a babylonian myth.
