Rebuttal to Craig Winn "Prophet of Doom: PREDESTINATION" article:

The following article is a rebuttal to Craig Winn's article that is located at:  http://www../quotes4.html#predestination.

Important Note to the Reader:

Craig Winn purposely twisted and modified the English translations that he used!  He changes words in translations and uses non-Muslim ones.  I've noticed this a lot through his translations of the Noble Verses that he used from the Noble Quran.

He wrote:

PREDESTINATION:

Tabari I:202 “There are people who consider predestination untrue. Then they consider the Qur’an untrue…. People merely carry out what is a foregone conclusion, decided by predestination and written down by the Pen.”
Qur’an 97:1 “We have revealed it (the Qur’an) in the Night of Predestination.”
Bukhari:V6B60N473 “Every created soul has his place written for him either in Paradise or in the Hell Fire. His happy or miserable fate is predetermined for him.”
Bukhari:V6B60N473 “While we were in a funeral procession, Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Every created soul has his place written for him either in Paradise or in Hell. They have a happy or miserable fate predestined for them.’ A man said, ‘Apostle! Shall we depend upon what is written and give up doing deeds? For whoever is destined to be fortunate, will join the fortunate and whoever is destined to be miserable will go to Hell.’”
Tabari I:306 “The Messenger said, “Allah created Adam and then rubbed Adam’s back with his right hand and brought forth his progeny. Then He said, ‘I have created these as the inhabitants of Paradise.’ Then he rubbed his back with His left hand and said, ‘I have created those for the Fire, and they will act as the inhabitants of the Fire.’ A man asked, ‘O Messenger, how is that?’ Muhammad replied, ‘When Allah creates a human being for Paradise, He employs him to act as the inhabitants of Paradise, and he will enter Paradise. And when Allah creates a human being for the Fire, He will employ him to act as the inhabitants of the Fire, and will thus make him enter the Fire.’”
Tabari I:305 “Then Allah rubbed Adam’s back and brought forth his progeny. And every living being to be created by Allah to the Day of Resurrection came forth. He scattered them in front of him like tiny ants. He took two handfuls and said to those on the right, ‘Enter Paradise! And He said to the others, ‘Enter the Fire! I do not care.’”
Qur’an 70:1 “A questioner questioned concerning the doom about to fall upon the infidels, which none can avert or repel.”
Bukhari:V4B55N550 “The Prophet said, ‘Allah has appointed an angel in the womb, and the angel says, “Lord, a drop of semen discharge. Lord, a clot, Lord, a piece of flesh.” And then, if Allah wishes to complete the child’s creation, the angel will say. Lord, male or a female? Lord, wretched or blessed in religion? What will his livelihood be? What will his age be?” The angel writes all this while the child is in the womb of its mother.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N430 “Allah’s Apostle, the true and truly inspired said, ‘Regarding the matter of the creation of a human being: humans are put together in the womb of the mother in forty days. Then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period. He becomes a piece of flesh for forty days. Then Allah sends an angel who is ordered to write four things: the new creature’s deeds, livelihood, date of death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched. He will do whatever is written for him.’”

Qur’an 3:145 “No person can ever die except by the permission of Allah, the term being fixed as by writing.”
Ishaq:395 “No soul can die but by Allah’s permission in a term that is written.”

My response:

First of all, as I proved in my previous rebuttals, the Al-Tabari and Ibn-Ishaq and other sources are extremely doubtful and unauthenticated.  Most Muslim scholars today firmly and strongly believe in this.  Not that the hadiths above are bad or anything, but as most Muslim Scholars agree, we Muslims can't take them as absolute Truth or accurate information.  Much of these volumes are either corrupt or taken out of context.  Again, this is according to the Muslims scholars.  This is why these volumes are considered "unauthenticated".

Now in regards to "predestination" to Hell and Heaven:

There are several articles that I wrote regarding Heaven and Hell in Islam:

Is our destiny pre-determined by GOD?  Does GOD choose who is evil and who is good?  How come GOD didn't make all of us good if He is the "Most Merciful" and "Most Just"?

Did GOD create some Men and Jinns to be destined to hell?

After death, what would prevent a Muslim from entering Heaven?  Also, how long will the Disbelievers stay in Hell?

How does a Muslim get to Heaven, saved, reach a state of perfect harmony with God?

Will Hell eventually be empty?  For how long will Allah Almighty punish some of His creation?

Almost every single Christian is going to hell according to the Bible.

Sheol in the Bible:  Hell and Death.

Would you describe Heaven and Hell according to the Islamic doctrine?

Paradise: Who are the People of Paradise? And who are the "Muminoon (Believers)" in Islam?

Paradise: Ways that lead to Paradise.

Does Paradise in Islam really have Homosexuality in it?

Response to the so called "Pornography" in the Noble Quran.

From www.answering-christianity.com/our_destiny.htm:

Is our destiny pre-determined by GOD?  Does GOD choose who is evil and who is good?  How come GOD didn't make all of us good if He is the "Most Merciful" and "Most Just"?

Our initial social and financial start in life is determined by Allah Almighty.   You could be born from a wealthy and highly reputable family where money is no problem with them, where somebody else could be born from a very bad family where his parents are drug dealers.  Your initial social and financial start is definitely and unquestionably determined and controlled by Allah Almighty.  He chooses where you start off your life.

Now, what about your life?  Is it pre-determined?   Are you programmed?  Do you have choices?

Before I answer this question from the Islamic perspective, you must first of all know that Allah Almighty purposely did not explain everything in details to us, especially the things that deal with His Holy Being, and Our Spirits and Souls.  He communicated little knowledge to us:

"They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: 'The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)'  (The Noble Quran, Noble Verse 17:85)

According to Islam, I don't know whether my spirit existed before I was born or not.  I don't know why did Allah Almighty make me be the son of my parents.  He the Almighty just simply pre-determined my initial start.

Now, as to our lives and whether their destinies were pre-determined or not, please visit the following articles:

Did GOD create some Men and Jinns to be destined to hell?

Is there a concept of Original Sin in Islam?  i.e. why part of God's perfect Creation is not righteous?

How does a Muslim get to Heaven, saved, reach a state of perfect harmony with God?

The Mercy of Allah Almighty on Mankind, and our age of 40 wisdom in Islam.

We do have choices in life.  We do have the power to make these choices and execute them too.  That is why Allah Almighty rewards those who do good in life, and at the same time promises punishment for those who cause mischief, and commit murders and other evil acts for instance.  They obviously were not pre-programmed to do these acts.  They chose to do them.

My personal explanation to it:

Personally, this is how I think it works from the Islamic perspective using my own and solo interpretation:

1- Allah Almighty, as I said above, pre-determines our initial social and financial state when we're born.

2- While living, Allah Almighty would have a certain image or impression about you at first.  Based on your sincere intentions, you have the power to gain Allah Almighty's love or dislike.

3- If you gained His Holy Love, then He will help you in life, by bringing the good people in your path from unexpected places to be there for you and to help you overcome your difficulties.  He will help you financially, by blessing you with a good career or self-employed business.  He will help you feel His Holy presence, and help you become His friend.

Basically, the more good intentions you have, and the more sincerity you have toward doing as much good as possible, the more Allah Almighty will love you and forgive you.

4- If you gained His Dislike, then He will turn His face from you.  He will not send the good people and good causes to help you overcome your difficulties in life.  He might curse you by causing you to be unsuccessful in your social and financial life.  Or He might test you by allowing you to succeed in the wicked ways to see if you would come back to your senses and realize that He is only testing you and rewarding you in this life while He will punish you in the life after.

See Noble Verses 9:69, 18:46, 19:77, 34:34-35, 34:37, 43:32 and 53:48 for more details.

5- As to our death, only Him the Almighty Knows when a person would die.  But, since He said that He would punish severely those who commit suicide in the Noble Quran, then I think that our physical death might be sometimes under our full control, while our spiritual departure from Earth or from this life is definitely determined by Him.

"O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily God hath been to you Most Merciful!   If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for God.  If ye (but) eschew the most heinous of the things which ye are forbidden to do, We shall expel out of you all the evil in you, and admit you to a gate of great honour.  (The Noble Quran, 4:29-31)"

As we clearly see in these Noble Verses, Allah Almighty prohibits for us to kill ourselves, and promises those who do a punishment in Hell.  As I said, I think that our physical death might be sometimes under our full control, while our spiritual departure from Earth or from this life is definitely determined by Allah Almighty.

So, if Allah Almighty for instance wrote for my spirit to depart to Him on October 20, 2050, then this may not necessarily mean that my physical body shall die on October 20, 2050.  My body could die in year 2040 for instance, while my spirit wouldn't depart until October 20, 2050.

Allah Almighty said:  "Every soul shall have a taste of death:  In the end to Us Shall ye be brought back.  (The Noble Quran, 29:57)"

"In the end to Us Shall ye be brought back" could mean what I explained above, that our spirits will depart to Allah Almighty at their pre-determined times, while the termination of our physical bodies may sometimes be under our full control.

That is why I think Allah Almighty promised punishment for those who kill themselves, while at the same time, He stated that He controls the times of our deaths.

And Allah Almighty Knows best.  May He forgive me if I made any error in my interpretations.

From www.answering-christianity.com/hell_destiny.htm:

Did GOD create some Men and Jinns to be destined to hell?

Absolutely not! Allah Almighty did not create us pre-programmed.  He created us with the freedom of choice.  He the Almighty will judge us based on our good and bad deeds.

"On no soul doth God Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) 'Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith.'   (The Noble Quran, 2:286)"

"And fear the Day when ye shall be brought back to God. Then shall every soul be paid what it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly.  (The Noble Quran, 2:281)"

"But how (will they fare) when we gather them together against a day about which there is no doubt, and each soul will be paid out just what it has earned, without (favour or) injustice?  (The Noble Quran, 3:25)"

"On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But God cautions you (To remember) Himself. And God is full of kindness to those that serve Him.  (The Noble Quran, 3:30)

"No prophet could (ever) be false to his trust. If any person is so false, He shall, on the Day of Judgment, restore what he misappropriated; then shall every soul receive its due,- whatever it earned,- and none shall be dealt with unjustly(The Noble Quran, 3:161)"

"Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.  (The Noble Quran, 3:185)"

"If any one does evil or wrongs his own soul but afterwards seeks God's forgiveness, he will find God Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.  (The Noble Quran, 4:110)Allah Almighty forgives sins if we ask for forgiveness.

"And if any one earns sin. he earns it against His own soul: for God is full of knowledge and wisdom.  (The Noble Quran, 4:111)"

"Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except God: if it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting God.  (The Noble Quran, 6:70)"

"But those who believe and work righteousness,- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear,- they will be Companions of the Garden, therein to dwell (for ever).  (The Noble Quran, 7:42)"

"Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!  And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.  (The Noble Quran, Noble Verses 99:7-8)"

There are a lot more Noble Verses that further prove my point. But I think the above ones are sufficient enough.

Please visit Is our destiny pre-determined by GOD?  Does GOD choose who is evil and who is good?  How come GOD didn't make all of us good if He is the "Most Merciful" and "Most Just"?

Allah Almighty interacts with us in our daily lives:

For those who are righteous and have clean hearts and carry love and mercy in them toward others, Allah Almighty will continuously lead them to the right path and will send the good people (causes) in their way to keep them guided.  And for those who have evil souls and bad attitude and carry much dislike and hate toward others, Allah Almighty will dislike them and leave them to be lead stray, and He will not guide them, nor will He send good people (causes) to change them.  It all depends on the individual.  Every person is treated UNIQUELY by Allah Almighty:

"God disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means God by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),  (The Noble Quran, 2:26)"

"Say: 'I am forbidden to worship those - others than God - whom ye call upon.' Say: 'I will not follow your vain desires: If I did, I would stray from the path, and be not of the company of those who receive guidance.'  (The Noble Quran, 6:56)"

"That is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance(The Noble Quran, 53:30)"

And Allah Almighty Knows best about all things.

Aisha in Islam:

Let's discuss the age of Aisha being 9 when she married our Prophet (CLICK HERE):

1-  See proofs, in the "Aisha being 9" article, from the Bible about little girls as young as 9 were married off and even sold off by their fathers as slave girls to men who were even older than their fathers.

2-  See also irrefutable proofs that pedophilia and terrorism exist in the Bible.  During the Mosaic times in the Bible's Old Testament, 3-year old slave girls were literally forced into sex under Moses' Orders and Command.  You sometimes have to read things twice to believe them!

*** Fathers sticking their fingers into their daughters' vaginas before marriage in the Bible.

3-
See also proofs how Aisha's parents were the ones who married her to our Prophet, and that no Muslim or even pagan objected to the marriage because it was widely practiced.  The reason no one objected was:

  1. People used to have very short life-spans in Arabia.   They used to live between 40 to 60 years maximum.  So it was only normal and natural for girls to be married off at ages 9 or 10 or similar.

  2. Marriage for young girls was widely practiced among Arabs back then, and even today in many third-world non-Muslim and Muslim countries.

Please visit: The age of Aisha, girls similar to her in the Bible, and unbelievable pedophilia against 3-year old slave babies in the pedophilic Bible.

What parts of the Bible do Muslims believe are closest to the Truth? and Why?

"Allah" was GOD Almighty's original Name in the Bible according to the Hebrew and Aramaic sources.

Scientific Miracles in Islam and the Noble Quran.

Most of the Bible's books and gospels were written by mysterious people!

Jesus mentioned Muhammad by the name in the Bible.

Did Isaiah 53 really prophesies about the crucifixion of Jesus? It supports Islam's claims about Jesus peace be upon him never died on the cross.  I also addressed John 19:36-37 from the Bible and proved that Jesus never got crucified, since GOD Almighty promised that he will protect Jesus' body and not let even a single bone be broken.   My question to all Christians is: How in the world is it possible for the feet to get nailed on the cross without any penetration to the bones by the nails, hence breaking part of the feet's bones?! I also added refutations to Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12, Zechariah 12:10 and Psalm 34:20, which supposedly prove the Christians' belief about Jesus crucifixion.  I proved that this dogma has no truth what so ever and exposed the wrong Trinitarian English translation of Zechariah 12:10.
