Scientists recently discovered using Advanced Audio Technology that Ants do indeed talk to each other as the Holy Quran Stated!

The sections of this article are:

1-  Allah Almighty's Claim in the Holy Quran.
2-  The Scientific Discovery.

(a)-  Ants bodies are crushed - Miracle [1].

3-  Conclusion.

1-  Allah Almighty's Claim in the Holy Quran:

The Holy Quran and Islam are filled with scientific statements and notions.  These are statements of Allah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe.  What's most amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries.  Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood.  The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.

Allah Almighty Said: "We will show them Our signs in the Universe and inside their selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?  (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"

With this said, let us now look at the following Noble Verses from the Holy Quran:

Noble Verse(s) 27:18
Yusuf Ali:

[027:018]  At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it."

Arabic (from right to left):

27:18 حتى اذا اتوا على واد النمل قالت نملة ياايها النمل ادخلوا مساكنكم لايحطمنكم سليمان وجنوده وهم لايشعرون

Before we proceed, it is important to also see this Scientific Discovery about the Ants four sequences of Communication, exactly as it is laid out in the Holy Quran.

Hills are alive with the sound of ants — talking to each other

Ant vocabulary is much larger than previously thought

Lewis Smith, Environment Reporter

Advances in audio technology have enabled scientists to discover that ants routinely talk to each other in their nests.

Most ants have a natural washboard and plectrum built into their abdomens that they can rub together to communicate using sound.

Using miniaturised microphones and speakers that can be inserted unobtrusively into nests, researchers established that the queens can issue instructions to their workers.

The astonished researchers, who managed to make the first recordings of queen ants “speaking”, also discovered that other insects can mimic the ants to make them slaves.

Rebel's large blue butterfly is one of about 10,000 creatures that have a parasitic relationship with ants and has now been found to have learnt to imitate the sounds as well as using chemical signals.

The butterfly's caterpillars are carried by ants into the nests where they beg for food and are fed by the workers. When a colony is disturbed the ants will rescue the caterpillars before their own broods.

Research several decades ago had shown that ants were able to make alarm calls using sounds, but only now has it been shown that their vocabulary may be much bigger and that they can “talk” to each other.

Professor Jeremy Thomas, of the University of Oxford, said improvements in technology had made the discoveries possible because it meant the ants could be recorded and subjected to playbacks without becoming alarmed.

By placing miniature speakers into the nest and playing back sounds made by a queen, the researchers were able to persuade ants to stand to attention.

“When we played the queen sounds they did 'en garde' behaviour. They would stand motionless with their antennae held out and their jaws apart for hours - the moment anyone goes near they will attack,” he said.

He described how the ants would press their antennae to the speaker just as they would seek to greet another ant in the nest.

Professor Thomas said it remained unclear how much the ants relied on sound for language but he suspected that further analysis would reveal a wider vocabulary than had been seen yet.

“The most important discovery is that within the ant colony different sounds can provoke different reactions,” he said. “I would be very surprised if we didn't get different types of sound.

“It's within the power of the ant to play different tunes by changing the rhythm with which they rub.”

He added that the detection of the role of sounds provided the “final piece of the jigsaw” to explain how Rebel's large blue caterpillars survive in ants' nests and should help to guide conservationists in trying to save the endangered European mountain species.

Francesca Barbero, of the University of Turin, said: “Our new work shows that the role of sound in information exchange within ant colonies has been greatly underestimated.”

Karsten Schönrogge, of the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology in Oxfordshire, said the mimicry by the caterpillars was so convincing that the ants afforded them higher status than their own young. They will even slaughter their own young to feed the interlopers when food is scarce.

The findings were reported in the journal Science.

Ants bodies are crushed - Miracle:

The following post on this website's blog was made by brother "Proud Muslim", may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him.  I provided the scientific data below to further prove the brother's scientific points.

From http://www.answering-christianity.com/blog/index.php/topic,2785.msg13336.html#msg13336:

Hello there, after doing some research, I have just found a new scientific miracle in the Quran! Here's it:

Ants' Exoskeleton in the Quran!

Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not." Quran [27:18]

We all can obviously notice here that the Quran used the word "crushed", and the word that is translated as crushed is يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ.

The word يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ is the same as the word حطم. The difference is just that the word يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ is the form of the word حطم[ in reported speech and plural.

Let's look at what lisaan al arab said about the word حطم.

http://lisaan.net/search/%D8%AD%D8%B7%D9%85

If we looked carefully, we will find out that the word حطم means كسر

And if we translated the word كسر. We mostly get break, crash, and crush

As you can see that all these definitions are used for solid things, so the Quran is saying that ants are a solid things? No! It turns out that ants have a very strong skeleton. This skeleton is called exoskeleton, and it's mostly made of chitin. Unlike humans, ants have their skeleton outside, that is why it's called exoskeleton. Ants' exoskeleton is actually very solid and strong. they are capable of lifting a weight many times it's own weight, so imagine having a very solid and strong armor sticking to you, even if you have organisms inside. You'll still make a "crushing" sound, and you would still get crushed because of your armor that is part of you, so ants will get crushed because of their exoskeleton that is part of them! A robot would still be considered crushed even if it had some real organisms inside!

Another thing, the Quran used the word crushed instead of squashed. This should be referring to something.  Normal people would have used يسحقنكم instead of يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ , because يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ is used for solid things. Is there anyone who believed that ants are a solid things 1400 years ago?

Again the Quran was proved to be God's true word! Isn't it amazing how these scientific miracles are hidden waiting people to discover them, even myself didn't notice that this word contain a scientific fact!

Ants like Glass:

1-  From http://harvardforest.fas.harvard.edu/ants/body-structure:

"Body Structure. Like all insects, an ant's body is divided into three main parts ~ the head, the thorax, and the abdomen. Ants have a hard, waterproof exoskeleton, which is made of a material called chitin. They are exceptionally strong for their size- They can lift 10 times their own weight!"

Note:  The experiment below shows that ants can lift 100+ times their own weight.  Not just 10 times.  Read more about the ant's exoskeleton structure.

This amazing new species of ant, found in the Philippines, is called the Pirate Ant. It really looks like it's made of glass!

The research team, led by Sabine Frohschammer, a PhD student at Universität Regensburg, in Denmark, was searching for other species of ants when they came across this almost-see-through specimen in a shady stream bed.

"Due to the darkness of the rainforest and the translucent body parts of the tiny ants they were nearly invisible. Under bright light and a magnifier we detected the nice stripe across the eyes and therefore always referred to these species as 'the pirates,'" Frohschammer said in a statement.

Here's the side view of the pirate stripe, which is only on the female ants:

The researchers aren't sure how this strange glassy pigment pattern helps the ants. Because they have poor vision and live and mate in the dark and shady streambed, they don't think it's a mark of the ant's gender.

It may be a tool to distract the ant's predators, they said.

Here's a close up of the glassy outer covering of the ant, which they named Cardiocondyla pirata. The study was published on May 17 by the journal ZooKeys.  Also in PDF.

3-  From https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/compound-eye/a-recipe-for-photographing-angry-fire-ants/:

"The box is your studio. Place your strobe(s) inside the box facing upward, set manually to 1/4 power. When the strobes fire, the box should fill with diffuse white light. Not only does the box produce lovely light, it solves one of the big challenges of photographing fire ants. Fire ant skin, it turns out, is among the most shiny of all ants, nearly like glass, and unless the lighting is carefully managed, the ants look terrible in photographs, all glare and shadow. Place the flashlight inside the box, or the desk lamp just outside, to serve as a working light so you can see what you are doing."

Ants are very strong:

Weaver ants get a grip

Thomas Endlein, a zoologist at Cambridge University, recently won the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council photography prize with this picture (left). It depicts an Asian weaver ant, Oecophylla smaragdina (Hymenoptera), hefting a 500 mg weight, equaling to about 100 times the weight of the ant. It comes as no surprise that ants are capable of great feats of strength; we often hear about ants lifting “X-hundred” times their body weight. What is astonishing about this photo, however, is that the ant is able to lift 100 times its weight whilst suspending itself upside down on a smooth, glass-like surface. How is it holding on?

Most insects are capable of adhesion to smooth surfaces like glass. On the tips of their legs ants and other insects have a specialized appendage called a tarsus. The tarsus includes claws for locomotion on rough terrain, as well as a flexible pad, called an arolium, for adhesion to smooth surfaces. The surface of the arloium varies within the insects: In flies and beetles it is covered with fine hairs, while on ants, bees, roaches, and grasshoppers it is a flat flexible cuticle. The arolium is coated with viscous secreted fluids allowing it to work like a wet suction cup.

As the ant plants its foot and applies an inward-dragging force on its tarsus, the arolium passively expands, increasing suction contact with the surface (see below). It is by this mechanism that ants generate the suction-adhesion forces required to carry heavy loads over smooth surfaces. This passive expansion is especially advantageous since it automatically prevents detachment in case of sudden jostling. In addition, if the ant only applies a little pressure on the arolium it does not expand as significantly, allowing the ant to move at a brisker pace when not carrying a heavy load.

Weaver ants, like the one in the photo at top, create elaborate woven hives out of plant leaves. Their gathering routs bring them over soil, up bark, and frequently across the undersides of smooth leaves. Therefore they have evolved a tarsus the can grip with both claws and suction in order to carry their heavy payloads home.

    3-  Conclusion:

Again, the Holy Quran and Islam are filled with scientific statements and notions.

Scientific breakthrough on animal communication confirms the Glorious Quran's Claim.

Researchers' Major Discovery with Dolphins: [1]

First of all, Allah Almighty Said in the Glorious Quran:

"There is not an animal (That lives) on the earth, Nor a being that flies On its wings, but (forms Part of) communities like you.  Nothing have We omitted From the Book, and they (all) Shall be gathered to their Lord In the end.  (The Noble Quran, 6:38)"

Researchers in Russia have recorded two Black Sea bottlenose dolphins talking to each other in a pool.  For the first time, dolphins have been recorded having a conversation "just like two people".  In the findings, the dolphin listened to a sentence of pulses without interruption, before replying.  Researchers say the two dolphins Yasha and Yana, could create sentences of up to five "words".  However, they do not yet understand the content.  Researchers say it is clear now that Dolphins speak their own language.  And it is time to start studying how to communicate directly with them.  Please watch the follow video:
