Did Noble Verse 54:1 come from Imru'u Al-Qays' (امرئ القيس) poems?
The sections of this article are:
1- Noble Verse 54:1 and the
Scientific Miracle.
2- The alleged poem's history and facts.
3- Conclusion.
1- Noble Verse 54:1 and the Scientific Miracle:
| Noble Verse(s) 54:1 |
| Yusuf
Ali: [054:001] The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder. Arabic (from right to left): 54:1 سورة القمر بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٛــــ اقتربت الساعة وانشق القمر |
NASA had just recently confirmed that the moon had been split due to violent ancient moon quakes. For more details and pictures on this, please visit: The moon's crack in the Noble Quran, and its appearance to split in half according to MANY eye witnesses, including non-Muslims!
2- The alleged poem's history and facts:
For those who speak Arabic, I strongly recommend visiting this article:
http://www.islamweb.net/ver2/archive/readart.php?id=79229
It has 20 refutations to the alleged poem that prove that it was a lie put on the mouth of Imru'u Al-Qays' (امرئ القيس). They quoted many early poetry historians and many other early sources that prove without any doubt that the poem is a fabrication. I will translate the main arguments from each refutation soon, insha'Allah. Among their best arguments were the following:
1- The Arabs of Mecca, Madina and all other tribes were very knowledgeable of the Arabs' poetry. Yet, not once was Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, charged with plagiarizing from Imru'u Al-Qays!
2- The early poetry historians such as Al-Thahabi and many others that I will mention soon insha'Allah, never once mentioned this poem and its verses.
3- The poem's verse itself about the moon split has three contradicting versions and are self-refuting.
"اقتربت الساعة وانشق القمر من غزال صاد قلبي ونفر" (the hour has come near and the moon had split, from a gazelle that hunted my heart and ran away)
"ذنت الساعة و إنشق القمر عن غزال صاد قلبي و نفر" (the hour came down and the moon has split, away from a gazelle that hunted my heart and ran away)
"دنت الساعة وانشق القمر غزال صاد قلبي ونفر" (the hour has come near and the moon has split, gazelle hunted my heart and ran away)
The contradicting verses are self-refuting because:
The pagans never
witnessed the moon split!
The Arabs were not known at all for speaking about a moon's
split.
The Arabs' poems were big on speaking about full moons in
their poetry and using them for their loved ones.
Imru'u Al-Qays was among the top poets. The poem is
quite silly and doesn't match his style.
The second version is not romantic and is offensive to the
girl. The moon has split and went away from her.
The third one has hardly any meaning in it. The moon
has split and his lover stole his heart. It seems to be speaking about
a timing.
The poem's verses do not rhyme!

4- The other verses in the poem
speak of resurrection:
The pagans did not believe in resurrection as this was one of the main points for them initially rejecting Islam:
5- The detailed points for the 20 refutations are
coming up insha'Allah (if Allah Almighty is Willing).
3- Conclusion:
More irrefutable facts will be added to this article, soon, insha'Allah. But as we clearly saw from the points above, the Prophet of Islam, peace be upon him, was never ONCE charged with plagiarizing from Imru'u Al-Qays, nor did the pagans ever witness the moon splitting before Islam.
For those who speak Arabic and read the article above, it is clear that the alleged poem and its verses were forged by the infidels. While many Muslims were allowed to use some of the Noble Quran's Words in their poems, as the article gave many examples on this, but Imru'u Al-Qays was no Muslim, and he certainly did not live among Muslims, nor was he alive during the days of Islam, nor did he believe in resurrection, nor the moon splitting was ever used, NOT EVEN ONCE, by the Arabs in their poems, because they never witnessed the moon split!
There is simply too much evidence that exposes the poem and its verses as infidels-made forgery. More proofs coming, insha'Allah....

| The S-shaped moon orbit! It is also relevant to know that Allah Almighty described the shape of the moon's entire orbit around the earth as a shape of an old and dried-out date tree's branch, also scientifically known and confirmed today as S-shaped. The shape of the old and dried-out branch of a date tree does resemble the letter "S". I provided images in the article that prove this. |
