Does Islam really allow the killing of innocent unbelievers?

This is one misunderstanding that keeps rising up against Islam.   Islam does not in anyway allow for the killing of any innocent soul.  I have gathered some of the Noble Verses that I am aware of that deal directly with war and peace to shed some light upon my readers.

Noble Verses that order the killing of the enemies:

Let us look at Noble Verses 9:28-29 "O ye believe! Truly the pagans are unclear; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque.  And if ye fear povery, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, For Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, from among the people of the book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

Let us look at Noble Verse 9:5 "Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful."

As we clearly see in the above Noble Verses, the laws of killing the unbelievers or the pagans were for particular and specific times, and not for all times and all places.  Notice the quotes "...after this year..." and "...when the sacred months have passed...".

It is important to know that when Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him started preaching Islam, he had to deal with 360 Arab pagan tribes at first, and he and his followers had to go through a lot of battles that were imposed upon them by the pagans who were threatened by the new System and Wonderful Religion of Islam.

 

Noble Verses that deal with peace:

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors.  (The Noble Quran, 2:190)"

"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.  (The Noble Quran, 5:32)"

The Law of Moses that was sent to the people of Israel is also honored in the Glorious Quran:

[042:013]  The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than God, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. God chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).

So Allah Almighty Commanded the Muslims to look to the Religion of Moses and the other mentioned Prophets for remaining "steadfast in religion".  And as we will see below, the Religion of Moses, peace be upon him, does prohibit bestiality.  Not only that, but Allah Almighty Commanded the Muslims to ask the people of the Thikr of Moses (the Law of Moses) if we are unsure about something.  Now, unless the Moral Code had been abrogated in the Glorious Quran, such as permission to eat camel meat, which is forbidden in the Torah and allowed in the Quran, then we must seek the broader Law of GOD Almighty if we're unsure in Islam about any Moral issue.

And besides, how could you only spend 2 weeks in jail, and be released without any charge or court appearance, according to him, for bombing a place anyway?!

What about the Bibles?  Does Quran say anything about them as being one book?

There is no legitimate Divine Book called "Bible".  The Roman massacres also wiped out the original texts.  Hardly a total of 2 pages, and it was written 100 to 200 years after Jesus.  Not early enough by any stretch.  Also, the first 200 years there were no gospels or writings, and they admit that much forgeries were "fairly common"  There is not even one unified Bible that all agree on.  All bibles differ amongst each other in quantities of books and verses.  The whole concept of "Bible" was forged by the Emperor Constantine's team of church leaders in the early 300s in the city of Nicaea, Turkey.  It is just a collection of writings that include Divine Laws and corruptions of men, and some history all put together.  As I mentioned above, the Jews and Christians write false books and call them Divinely inspired Talmud and Bibles.  

  

General Principle:

Allah Almighty has set high and monumental goals throughout the Glorious Quran.  The Glorious Quran gives Superior Laws and General Principles that are not subject to their local events and limited context.  The following Noble Verse 2:79 is a general principle and not limited to people in the Prophet's time:

[002:079]  Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: "This is from God," to traffic with it for miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.

1.  The general principle here is similar to the "Produce your Proof if you are Truthful" one in 2:111.  It is not just limited to the people of the Book.  It is for Muslims and for all people.

2.  Another general principle example is the freeing of all slaves Quranic Law.

Slavery Example:

Another example of the Glorious Quran's general principle VS. local and limited situations (i.e., in the interim of things), is the law of slavery.  Allah Almighty's Highest Standard regarding slavery is to end it in all of the lands:

[090:012] And what will make you comprehend what the uphill road is?
[090:013] (It is) the setting free of a slave,

So one of the monumental tasks upon the Muslims is to end all forms of slavery.  Yet, the Glorious Quran also allows enslaving, buying slaves, selling slaves, having harems (female slaves).  So is this a contradiction?  No.  Is this an abrogation (90:12-13 abrogating all other verses or vise versa)?  No.  All Noble Verses concerning slaves and slavery still stand UNTIL JUDGMENT DAY!  All 6236 Noble Verses that make up the entire Glorious Quran still stand today and will always stand till the Day of Judgment.  We have no abrogation here.  The Muslim State and Court and people must be mindful that Allah Almighty has set high and monumental goals in the Glorious Quran.  In the interim of things, however, the slavery Noble Verses could be activated and applied due to battles that may occur or deals and/or transactions.  But the ultimate goal must be to end all forms of slavery in all Muslim lands.

Quran 5:32 vs. Talmud?  (Text or Concept)

The following was taken from Which book were the people of the Book reciting (فسأل الذين يقرؤون الكتاب) during Prophet Muhammad's days according to the Glorious Quran 10:94?

  

All previous books, except the Glorious Quran, are not perfect, and are filled with corrupt قول qaowl (doctrines of sayings and writings. See also Hafs vs. Warsh Quran), and do contain "conflicting doctrines" (51:8, 78:3, 2:59, 2:113, 4:157, 11:110, 41:45).  قول  in Noble Verses 5:81, 2:59 and 4:157 refers to the corrupt "Bibles" and false writings that are based on ample conjectures and false sayings:   فبدل الذين ظلموا قولا غير الذي قيل لهم  that is the evil ones changed the Divine Words for corrupt قول qaowl (2:59).  The previous books also contain ample "conjecture" (4:157, 2:78, 16:64, 10:36, 10:66, 53:28), and also do contain ample "crookedness" عوج and ample "disputes" (3:99, 7:45, 7:86, 11:19, Luke 7:34, 14:3, 16:124, 18:1, 39:28).

Examples:  Prophet Muhammad mentioned in Torah.  Yet, they lie about it.

  

For example from many:  Prophet Muhammad mentioned by name in Hosea 9:5-7.  Quoted also work of Hebrew Rabbis and Jews who converted to Islam.  By brother  أحمد سبيع , may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him.  Ameen.

          

  
 The fights between Paul's vs. Peter's teams (43:65) apostatizing each other (2:253, 43:63-68).  The people of the Book are also known to alter and corrupt scriptures: 2:75, 4:46, 5:13, 5:41.  But the Scriptures also, nonetheless, contain Divine Truth from GOD via the Prophets' writings (4:157, 2:78, 2:213, 16:43-44, 16:64, 10:36, 10:66, 53:28), and also the uncorrupted GOD's Jewish Law, which is the Thikr of Moses (600+ list of Laws given to Moses), which "the prophets did judge by it" (5:44), that lives there, but the texts are not in their original form.  See also Torah's Laws are built entirely on the Book (6:91)  انزل الكتاب الذي جاء به موسى  the Book was sent to Moses and was brought to the believers by Moses.  So for example, the commandment "Do not steal" may not be in its original text and language, but the Divine Law and Commandment that prohibits stealing lives in it.  Allah Almighty Commands the Jews and Christians to interpret their scriptures by the Glorious Quran (27:76, 5:48).  Noble Verse 10:94 is further discussed below, and is also discussed on the website's blog.

"Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to God's will) in Islam.   Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them).  (The Noble Quran, 15:2-3)"

"Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it):......(The Noble Quran, 18:29)"

"Say : O ye that reject Faith!  I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship.  And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship.  To you be your Way, and to me mine.  (The Noble Quran, 109:1-6)"

"Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: 'O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness.'  (The Noble Quran, 18:86)"  In this Noble Verse we see that if the enemy wants to do us harm, then we must punish those who did us harm.   Otherwise, we must treat the enemy civilians and the innocents with kindness.

Let us look at Noble Verse 45:14 "Tell those who believe, to forgive those who do not look forward to the days of Allah: It is for Him to recompense (for good or ill) each people according to what they have earned."

Let us look at Noble Verse 5:32 "...if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people..."  In this Noble Verse we clearly see that Allah Almighty honors all the innocent souls that He created. Killing any innocent soul is so hated by Allah Almighty that He considers it as a crime against all of Mankind.

Let us look at Noble Verse 25:68 "Those who invoke not, with God, any other god, nor slay such life as God has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment."  In this Noble Verse we clearly see that Allah Almighty considers the innocent soul "sacred". He will punish those who kill the innocent souls (by throwing them in hell).

Let us look at Noble Verse 2:182 "But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."

Let us look at Noble Verse 2:224 "And make not God's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for God is One Who heareth and knoweth all things."

I'd say, this Noble Verse clearly proves my point: Let us look at Noble Verse 8:61 "But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things)."  In this Noble Verse, we clearly see Allah Almighty ordering us, the Muslims, to incline toward peace when the enemy inclines toward peace.  This proves that Islam is not a religion for wars, but for peace.

Allah Almighty orders Muslims in the Noble Quran to allow total freedom of choice to people and to never try to force them into Islam; "Let there be no compulsion (forcing others) in religion:  Truth stands out clear from error:  whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks.  And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.  (The Noble Quran, 2:256)"  The Noble Quran prohibits Muslims to force any person into Islam.   Muslims must not let people resent Islam and Muslims.  They must leave people decide for themselves because the "Truth stands out clear from error...(2:256)"

Compulsion is incompatible with religion:  Because (1) religion depends upon faith and will, and these would be meaningless by force; (2) Truth and Error have been so clearly shown up by the mercy of Allah Almighty that there should be no doubt in the minds of any persons of good will as to the fundamentals of faith; (3) Allah Almighty's protection is continuous, and His Plan is always to lead us from the depths of darkness into the clearest light.

In the above Noble Verses, we clearly see that Allah Almighty orders the Muslims to be forgiving to the enemies and to make peace and peace making their top priority.  It is part of the Muslim's morals to be a peaceful person.

Muslims start their greetings with "As'salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatu Allah Wa Barakatuh", which means in English "May GOD's peace, mercy and blessings be upon you."

Allah Almighty also promised in several Divine Prophecies that He will show the Glorious Quran's Miracles to mankind.  For example:

2-  Allah Almighty said that Prophet Noah lived for 950 years.  Yet, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, the entire Noble Surah (chapter Noah) is exactly written in 950 Letters.  You can thoroughly see the accurate count in the scanned images.

3-  Allah Almighty in the Glorious Quran said that earth is:
  
       -  Spherical: "egg-shaped" [1].
       -  Is rotating around itself.
       -  Is moving in space in curvy orbits [2].
       -  Is traveling through the constantly expanding universe [3].

As we also see from the picture, Noble Verse 55:37 is a Divine Promise (Allah promised to show mankind) that mankind will actually see this come to pass one day.  NASA and other space agencies, by Allah Almighty's Will, have certainly fulfilled this Prophecy, because a natural rose wouldn't form when a "Heaven" or a Solar System or even an entire galaxy and its
trillions of solar systems all blow up (explode).  It is rather the look of it, and this is exactly what NASA confirms.

Islam also thoroughly rejects as man-made lies the Trinity and Crucifixion [2].  Jesus was also thoroughly called slave of GOD [1] in both the OT and NT.

GOD didn't talk this way when He spoke to Moses.  GOD's testimony alone is always sufficient!  Jesus also bowed his face down to the ground, like we Muslims  (Isaiah 56:5: Muslim is the future believers' name, and sons and daughters of GOD titles will be "no more";    ; Jesus called every believer a Muslim in Luke 6:40)  Muslims do everyday, and prayed to GOD Almighty.
