1- The land-sea ratio in the Glorious Quran:
Allah Almighty Said: "We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and inside their selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"
With this said, let us now examine the following facts from the Glorious Quran:
"Land" is mentioned 14 times, and "Sea", which means Seas,
Oceans and Rivers in the Glorious Quran, is mentioned 39 times.
14 + 39 = 53.

"Land" is mentioned 12 times (if you want to exclude #13 and #14, below, because they're talking about land-creatures or creatures on land, and not exclusively about land only), and "Sea" is mentioned 39 times. 12 + 39 = 51.
The Arabic word بر (bar), which means "land", occurred 12 or 14 times in the Glorious Quran. I personally counted them, and this is the link that proves this. To check them manually for yourself, go to my website, www.QuranSearch.com, and type in (or copy and paste) بر and choose the "Exact String" radio button and the "Arabic" translation, and click "Search".
The Noble Verses that the Word بر exist in and means "land" in them are:
Please be advised that there are ample Noble Verses that بر occurs in them as part of Words. Their meaning isn't "land". They have completely different meanings, and any person who can read and understand Arabic can verify this when reading the returned Noble Verses in the link above.
The Arabic word بحر (bahr), which means "sea", occurred in the Glorious Quran 39 times. Also, I personally counted them, and this is the link that proves this. You can even count the highlighted words for yourself, even if you don't speak Arabic. The Noble Verses that the word بحر exist in are:
Please be advised though that some of the highlighted Words, while the letters exist in them, but they don't mean sea. They mean war. بحرب and حرب mean war. My search engine picked up all of the words that contained بحر in them and returned them. When I counted all of the occurrences of the word sea (بحر), I came up with 39 as everyone who can read and understand Arabic can easily verify this.

The Glorious Quran's Miracle!
The fact that the Scientists' ratio estimations are very close to the ratio calculations of the Glorious Quran (both are in the 70s for water and 20s for land), demonstrates that Allah Almighty indeed had a Divine Purpose and Wisdom for choosing certain Words in the Glorious Quran! The land-sea ratio in the Glorious Quran could've been way way off from what Western Scientists estimate, today. But because the Glorious Quran is the Divine Truth from Allah Almighty, the ratios of the Glorious Quran and the ratios of the scientists' calculations/estimations are very close. In fact, if we take the 14 Noble Verses for بر in the first case, above, then we would only be off by a roughly 2.5% between the scientists' estimations and the Glorious Quran's ratios. That is very close, especially when scientists could only give an estimation and not an exact figure.
To me as a firm believer in the Overwhelming Scientific Miracles in the Glorious Quran, I strongly believe that the land-sea ratio is one of the two cases that I presented above. And Allah Almighty always knows best.
3- Conclusion:
Again, the Noble Quran is filled with scientific statements and notions. These are statements of Allah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe. What's most amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries. Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood. The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.
